As a mid 50's motorsport/clssic car enthusiast I find myself in the suprising position of being due a child (boy) later in the year, only a 24 year gap from the last one.

I have suggested to the namimg committee "Enzo", "Dino", "Innes" all of which have been vetoed, I would like a 60's motorport related name "Graham" won't fly as there are too many in the family already.

I need something that has a motorsport heritage to it that the committee will go with while probably not realising the connection. I might try "Stirling" but all suggestions gratefully received.

I've also just discovered this cruel thing called paternity leave, I will gladly take a week off in order to buy scaletrix, mini moto X bike, suitable motorsport posters for his bedroom, but apparently some people actually take significant time off work to do this.

I am mindful that if I Overdo this he could end up being a vegetarian cyclist in later life but am prepared to take the risk

While he's a toddler I could call him Pastor as he would be constantly bumping into things but not likely to get past the committee

Didn't realise the mistake so wasn't laughing at that.

It was more the fact you find the position of having a kid surprising! laugh

David after Purley. Certainly a hero to aspire to beyond just being a driver.

We have friends who have a child called Emerson so there's another suggestion.

I found it surprising and terrifying in equal measure the first time.
