Looking to set up a overtaking/whats coming viewer....I drive a lot in the EU and also own a left hooker (fun) car in the UK.

I was thinking of a "action" cam feeding the view to a Android (Samsung) phone

any advice other than the £300+ on the GoPro type ?

Cheers

You would be better looking at a hard wired solution tbh, something you could plug into a head unit would probably be best.

Hi

I was thinking of a unit that I could switch between cars frown....

That said, what would you recommend, I do NOT have a TV screen in either of my cars BTW and I will not fit one of the Screen Head-Uints as I wish to keep the Citroen ACTIVA V6 in original spec and without massive $$$ cannot change the Citroen C5x7 as the searing wheel controls are so complicated no "adapters" are made for it.)

Have you looked at the SJCAM SJ4000 instead of the gopro? I bought one for about £60 and it is probably on par with my mates gopro

Do you know if that can hook up with Live view without lag to a Samsung (or like) phone ? or does it have to be a separate monitor.

(I have emailed the makers as well)

Thanks bud

Yep seen it and thanks.....but not paying £150 for that quality, it needs to be better and I think the action cam type would give it, just no maker seems to say which ones can without lag

Well. Learn something new every day.

That looks massively over complicated compared to shock & spring.

Whats the benefit of them?

When driving a LHD car in the UK, hang a fair way back (in reality it feels like "a very long distance back indeed" if I am honest) from the vehicle in front and keep left - the view down the inside of vehicles ahead can be very illuminating indeed in terms of what's (not) coming wink .

Works for me cloud9 .

Nice V6, by the way thumbup .
