Refreshing. Will start campaign for non-black/white/silver cars to be able to use bus lanes, special parking spaces at supermarkets, priority boxes at front of traffic lights, higher speed limits and lower fuel duty.
Along with double VAT and VED on black/white/silver cars, that's a great idea. smile

£1200, part of the ID Paint Pack, along with Racing Blue and Inferno Orange, amongst others.
And it looks so much better than that rather ghastly shade or orange (and I usually have a preference for orange or yellow over all else).

I never saw any of these about but since buying one, bluewater metallic seems to be everywhere. Though yet to see another 335d on the road, hoping I never do as I genuinely thought the colour was a little rarer than it clearly is! The one in the pic isn't mine so there's at least one other bd lurking somewhere

It's more common on the SE cars, but IMO probably the rarest of the regular-order metallic M Sport colours.

Petrol was either available on a Vectra C, or a similar shade was, no?
I've seen a petrol coloured Vectra C, but I'm not sure if it's quite the same colour. Lovely colour all the same.

Hi there,

Strangely I spotted one in this colour a couple of weeks ago and liked it so much I thought I'd grab a photo whilst at the traffic lights.

Lovely colour

Regards

Tim

There is a Scirocco in the car park at work that is this colour, or very similar. Reminds me of my first car, a MK3 Golf in Mystic Blue, or "blurple" as I called it back then, a quick image from google.

Girlfriend has one of these. No one thinks Merlot sounds like a good colour for a e85 until they see it for real. I'm just happy it's not grey, silver or black!

I pretty much hanker after any car in that primer grey colour especially fast Audi's and the Clio 200.

I thought they were more common than the dire looks would have suggested. Were they offered at a discount? I've seen a few over the years and always wondered. What does the colour show as on the DVLA record?

The answer is "Multi-colour"!

I didn't expect them to actually have that either.

I also have a thing for red cars now. I also have a 'thing' for audi's in Imola yellow and BMW's in their Individual Techno Violet, but one of my fave rare colour cars is Audi's Merlin Purple. Especially on an RS6 wagon.. yes please.

My picture and my old car biggrin

Only 31 in the UK in this colour, well there was when new. I finished this one off and I know 6 more have met their demise.

My mother enquired about these when they were new, assuming, like you that these must be discounted. The salesman looked at her as though she had 2 heads and bemusedly informed her that they cost the same as any other VW.
