Not very 'PistonHeads', but very on-topic. The Primera wasn't Nissan's only flip-colour.
My other half's Micra Mystique:

I hate you because that is so lovely biggrin
Thanks laugh

I'm glad I held out for one in this colour.
How long did you wait? I tried to get my R33 in blue or midnight pearl but the only ones that came up where only 3's or 3.5's and abit scruffy. Despite mine being black it's still an amazing car and deservedly was a 4 biggrin
About 7 months in the end. With 10+ cars a week going through the auctions I was getting a bit impatient. Mine was actually a 3.5 as the front splitter had been painted poorly and the paint was flaking off. Luckily the after taking the rest of the paint off the splitter underneath is immaculate.

Fiat Pandas came in a lovely orangey metallic colour. Saw one for the first time in Kos weirdly enough. To which Mrs Vtec said her friend had one exactly like it in school. Never seen one before or since.

Saw one yesterday that someone had decided to paint matte black below the side trim....badly i might add, they clearly didn't use tape as was rather a lot of overspray!

My Vantage in Fire Red....was a launch colour for the 4.7's and only a handful made because every other Aston is grey, silver, silvery grey, greyish silver or black!

Ford didn't sell them in red.

This car belonged to Vince Woodman

Don't know the name of the paint, seen it on my street and had to take a picture of it.

Austin Yellow, one of the M4 launch colours, quite common.

Most look goddam awful in unusual colours, no wonder they're rare. The notable exceptions being the two solid blue 911's which look fantastic.

I really like this, but if someone had described it to me I would've thought it was horrible.

Only ever seen one of these

Saw one coming the other way on the A1 at the weekend, though I think it may have been a modern Golf in harlequin colours, only saw it in the corner of my eye.

My local BMW garage had a 4 Series in this colour outside not long ago, stood out well in the sea of grey.

That one was a coupe though.

Looks good, I see a green V8 Vantage around a fair bit, I always like seeing it as the colour really suits it and it's different, I don't think I've ever seen another one:

There was also Golf MK3 Harlequins.

Just read up about it.

264 cars were done at the VW plant in Puebla,Mexico for the US market in 1996.

Cars were finished in 1 of 4 colours and then had all the bolt on panels swapped to another car to create

the multi colour cars.

must've been fun to do it at the time.
