Evoque in Havana. IMHO THE nicest colour for an Evoque.

There were 300 Miami Blue 1.6 Gtis and 300 1.9 Gtis made in 1990, along with 300 1.6 & 1.9 Gtis in Sorrento Green, but then Miami Blue and Sorrento Green became standard colours in later years.

The car pictured is a J-plate so first registered 1 August 1991 – 31 July 1992.

My XF is in the now discontinued French Racing Blue, which is too much of a mouthful so I usually refer to it as "dhead Blue" in familiar company.

It's probably relatively common on the R-S models, but it was only available until the Sportbrake came out when they changed to Ultra Blue. There aren't many R-S saloons about in absolute terms so you don't often meet another out and about.

It's easy to find in a carpark, which I like.

My Cerbera is painted in "Rolex Blue" which is apparently a BMW colour, with 284 in the paintcode. BMW may or may not have called it Amethyst. I don't know any more than that as I'm not particularly interested in BMWs beyond my own paint colour.

I've never noticed a BMW in this colour. Cerberas were also painted in Techno Violet as posted earlier in this thread, which I have seen on BMWs several times.

Aha, I did not know that! Thanks for the clarification. Can't remember what year the one I saw was.

Fiat Pandas came in a lovely orangey metallic colour. Saw one for the first time in Kos weirdly enough. To which Mrs Vtec said her friend had one exactly like it in school. Never seen one before or since.

Saw one yesterday that someone had decided to paint matte black below the side trim....badly i might add, they clearly didn't use tape as was rather a lot of overspray!
I saw two in that shade today.

The pale blue Alfa 156 is Achille blue.

And in Petrol

They only made 13 in each of those two colours
At least 14, they published those numbers before I ordered mine!
3 Petrol Speedster are in a 200km circle, including one 20km from me, and I know of no other...

Ford's Guard is a colour you don't see often but is a dark greenish grey which looks smart. I remember years ago being given a lift home from school in a then brand new J reg Ford Sierra in a similar colour.

There seems to be an Octavia VRS locally in green, not seen another in this colour and it looks fantastic.
