That's lovely. That era of Porsche came in some great colours.

I remember falling in love with the Rubystone 911 3.6 Turbo which Georg Kacher tested in Car.

Is that really called Dog's dick red? laugh
I thought Dog Knob Red was only a Porsche colour.

Ruby stone is nice but Karminrot on the early 911s is awesome into! Think 'hubba bubba'.

yes With the exception of the white Elise and the flip-paint Primera, I like all of the combinations posted so far. The green especially suits the Porsche.

I saw a pink old type Picasso the other day.

Yuk.

Pink is unusual on most cars TBH.
Oh I'm not so sure Vauxhall made loads of pink cars in the late 80's and early 90's

Just trying to remember the colour

White looked better but still doesn't do such a superbly styled saloon any sort of justice...

That looks so much like a 100/A6 C4 in that colour. I thought a PHer in the US had a C4 in that shade but I can't find the thread. frown

Volkswagens of the era were pretty bad for it too. But my uncle had a red Vauxhall Omega that faded horribly

They look like fire engines.
