Always liked Laguna Seca blue. (think this is the only UK e21 in this colour)

E21 replaced by E46.

I'm going to nominate my own car which is in Toyota blackish red, the only one In this colour. Looks a deep plum in the shade but fires metallic red when the sun hits;

I'll nominate my car, only ever seen 2 other yellow Vrs on the road, one of which was yesterday when I drove past another waiting at the lights as I went past. The chap driving looked at me open mouthed as I went past, I bet he's never seen another one either!

Some cars do suit dark/dull colours but for me a sports car has to be in a bright colour.

My old and current. I only knew of one other Griffith in that purple. Chimaera is a 1 of 1 in that colour apparently.

My old cerb in the same hue.

And my old white sl with a blue roof and red trim. (It was cheap)

Having only just seen this thread here is my long gone Alfa 155 Widebody in Prugna (metallic purple) which only appeared on the later cars.
I loved it but it did divide opinion among the masses on places such as Alfaowner at the time.

I don't often see Imprezas in red, more-so the new age ones.

MINI in Silk Green

Only available for a fairly short period of time on One and Cooper only, definitely my favourite MINI colour.

Land Rover in Monte Carlo Blue, especially neat on the Discovery 2 IMO but was available across the LR range for a couple of years.

Look at this picture from 1985 - a cross section of family cars and hatchbacks from an average German town. The variety of colours is amazing - can you imagine someone in your office turning up in a brand new citrus yellow 5 series, a powder blue E class or a snot green Mondeo today?

Hours of fun to be had trying to identify the cars in the photo (the word fun is used in its widest possible sense) biggrin

I hear you there - was looking around the car park seeing lots of lovely stuff, then spotted one I used to own Opel Commodore Coupe. cloud9
