Probably the Boxster. The F-type is just too big for me.

F type. It is a super car and the Boxster isn't.

An F type went past me earlier. V6 version. I don't think I've heard any Boxster sound as good as that.

Chap on our road has a new V6 F-Type Coupe in red. Sounds damned fine.

Boxster is a totally different car, definitely more dynamically capable and polished, but perhaps lacking character as a result.

I'd personally go with the Boxster GTS though as I still have an issue with the Jaguar image. Lots of older gents driving F-Types round here!

Because one looks great, sounds great and the other is commonly known as the Cockster.

If you are serious I'd drive both (preferably in one day) and make up my own mind. I owned a Boxster and they are good but not driven a Jag.

Jag has the image, Boxster is actually a decent car.

I've done that and the one that sticks in my mind is the F type. Purely the looks, the noise and the interior. Trouble is, I have no confidence in Jag quality. So common sense says Porker whilst heart says Jag.

Boxster, always. Particularly the GTS/981 Spyder. That flat 6 is sheer ear nectar, whereas the F-Type sounds just like a GT-R.. not necessarily a bad thing, but it's less tuneful IMO.

The V6 is the prettier car however dynamically, it's game over for the Jag.

Lots of women in marketing (or funded by rich hubbies) driving Boxsters round here, so you have to fight the stereotypes either way.

I love the look of the F-Type coupe and I had a fast lap of Longcross in one a couple of weeks ago and frankly it was a little bit brilliant, but if I was spending my money, I'm not sure if I'd take one over a Cayman (I wouldn't buy a convertible to be honest).

I might do, though, because I like front engined cars, just a personal preference.

Yet you have confidence in Pork quality? The internet scare stories and indeed real surveys would suggest your faith is somewhat misplaced.
