I saw this retweeted by Chris Harris and had to share it as it made me chuckle. Can you better it?

From the advert, but follow the link http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5140532931.htm... for more wonderful pictures of the car.

Thats a first - a front engined, rear engined piece of crap.

Pedant point - they're not gull wing doors.

I'm also sure that the blind guy who goes past the door on a regular basis would be throwing up in the gutter when he felt the 'lovely lines'.

Not really a kit car. More just a badly modified one.

Fair point. Maybe it should be titled Best "Worst" Self Builds instead.

There's some quite amusing ones out there which clearly aren't trying to be serious replicas. How about a nice Mustang?

I'm not so sure now that it's not a kit! I found another one that is substantially different but also almost the same!

Where did the photos of that shocking Zonda "replica" go?

You mean this one:

It may not look much like a Zonda, but it's nowhere near as bad as that monstrosity in the OP. hehe

Enzo;

Go outside and have a word with yourself.

Then go on google and don't come back until you can correctly identify an F40 over an Enzo

To be fair, it's better looking than a real F40.

Some ugly detail shots on my blog for the kit car masochists...
If it wasn't trying (and failing) to look like something else that GTOalike isn't too bad a looking car. At least compared to the rest...

This tends to be true of a great many poor replicas. Whilst some, like the original post, are just plain ugly in isolation; most are just crap because they try to pretend to be something they aren't. Take all the Ferrari badges off the average MR2 based 355 replica and you're actually left with quite a nice looking car.

+1 million

If you can't recognise one of the most iconic supercars ever produced then you should immediately cancel your membership of PH and any other motoring forums you may be a member of.
