What about the cyclist so intent on chasing the car and pulls out into the path of a cyclist and pedestrian crossing the road who have to take avoiding action.

The guy on the bike doesn't do cyclists any favours. I despise theses idiots that follow cars to give them grief. The driver was a bit highly strung but its not wise to poke wasps nests if you dont want stung.

The guy on the bike is in the wrong imo.
I have sympathy for the car driver.
I'm a cyclist btw.

Arf, apart from who is wrong or right the car driver was a fat, aggressive moron who made himself look a ''.

That would have been even better if the cyclist had gone back to help him up/put the boot in. biggrin

Regardless of the car drivers actions (hard to judge the distance between bike and car from the cameras POV, I've happily been cycling at the distance it feels like but as I said hard to judge) What's the cyclist doing chasing round after him baiting him? If he believed the drivers in the wrong and needs reporting then do it, no need to cycle round after him. You can bet if he didn't have the camera he'd not have bothered but felt that it would make a nice video to make him look clever. No different to cars giving chase to other cars after incidents. Two wrong's don't make a right. Report him if needed otherwise get on with it, don't try and turn yourself into some youtube avenger for cycling.

yes Two idiots meet, their respective modes of transport are irrelevant. Given how it started the cyclist perhaps has slightly more excuse for being an idiot but that doesn't make him any less an idiot.

Still funny though. biggrin

+1

I'm a human being who rides a bike, (apart from a car), too.

This. As a car driver, motorcyclist and cyclist, I'm sick of these self appointed important people sticking a camera on their head and riding around like little hitlers. fk all wrong with that overtake, I'd far rather be passed like that than have a car stuck up my arse all the way along the road. I was on my way to the Medway Cruise a few months back and had an earful from a cocky cyclist. If I wasn't in the Z06, I'd have stopped to give him a piece of my mind too. I did go down there at the same time on my bike for the next couple of days but no sign of him. Perhaps another motorist had already explained his lack of hand signas, piss poor positioning and his excess of gob to him.

As a cyclist that stops at red lights and tries not to hold people up too much, I've found myself using the MB off road nearly all this year. My road bike has only been out a handful of times this year. Too many angry people on the road, not helped by tts like him riding around going out of their way to argue with people.

Driver needs anger management therapy and locking away.

Cyclist will end up dead from gobbing off to the wrong person. Had the bloke been a bit more of a nutter and younger, this could have been the time.

The only thing he did wrong IMHO was chasing after fatty Arbuckle.
Overtake was idiotic impatience. Narrow road with cars parked both sides, high chance of somebody swinging one of those car doors open causing cyclist to swerve and what's more, there's a completely perfect bit of road for an overtake less than 50 meters ahead.
