The evidence is all there though, front and rear cameras, 352 videos uploaded to Youtube so far, airhorn. Similar editing style to the other cycling vigilante whose achieved a modicum of fame (somebody in the midlands, can't remember where) whereby he fast forwards the interlude bit, making it harder to spot the points he almost collides with pedestrians so keen is he to catch up to and confront the driver.
What I want to see is a video from one of the 3 pedestrians/1 other cyclist he nearly cycles over in his haste, chasing after him and accusing him of assaulting them in order to rile him up. Maybe they could push past someone during their chase, and then they could in turn get chased?

Laugh that would be good, that moment isn't far away, I know Google canned their glasses but a better version will be along soon. AXA are now offering a 10% discount on car insurance if you have a dash cam fitted.

Personally, I'd have sat behind the cyclist, but I sometimes wonder if this puts them under pressure or intimidates them. It's sometimes hard to judge for the best. If I pass them in those sort of situations, I go very slowly and try to show them I'm just trying to pass safely.

In my experience, almost all cyclists are ok and appreciate my efforts. This one was clearly a jerk but so was the driver. Did he think he came across as tough? Even without the pratfall. He just made me larf.

Doored from what Scuba? There were no parked cars to his left during the over take but be chose to stay out as if there was.

Not defending the driver but as a cyclist, I don't want to be associated with that prick
I know - I'm a driver and a cyclist and riding like that is not my bag either - I'd ride defensively if I thought i'd be in danger, I would have got out of this guys way in this case. The guy is legally entitled to cycle like that citing protection from being doored, kids running out etc.

It's akin to driving at 20 in a 40, annoying if you're behind but legal, and certainly not worth a close pass or cutting up, just be patient and let them on their way.

Apart form the point where he stays out despite the parking bays being empty? Then skins three pedestrians and another cyclist before making his escape down a pavement at 20mph +.

Look at my previous post. Why is he still out in the middle of the road? Look at all that room he could give himself.
Because literally one second before he's alongside a parked car.

I'm only talking about the lane positioning on the road - not the fkwittery that occurred afterwards. Legally, he's a vehicle on the road and is entitled to use the lane to protect himself.

I'll reiterate, I wouldn't cycle like that, it's antagonistic and likely to provoke an unfavourable response (which seems to be a theme in his youtube content) We also don't see the video of how he rode the rest of the journey prior to the incident. He's attracting the wrong type of attention riding like that, but as far as his road positioning entitled to do so.

I'm happy to agree with that, the chasing after the driver clearly identifies him as a bellend though.

Best way to deal with prats like Mr Provocation on two wheels is to apologise and admit you were wrong.

They can't handle that....hehe

Absolutely. Weapon of the highest order. But looking at his other videos, er, yeah he's looking for it.

We've seen in the news the last few weeks another poor sod stabbed and killed as a result of a road rage incident. The upload date suggests this is after this event. Do people not stop and think 'this isn't worth dying for...' as this video could have turned into. The Peugeot dude could have banged his head/fell into path of a car and died had this played out a different way.

Mental either way, could have been so much worse.
