Never liked the 12C nor the 650S, but this thing looks rather handsome and seems to tick all the right boxes.
i liked the 12c, although it may not have been my first choice in that market segment
The 650s although technically better simply didnt gel for me

This appears to be even better technically, and at long last from my perspective they have got all the visual elements to work as one.
Looks great. And i imagine even better in the flesh

Devastatingly quick. Think about anything you've ever been in and double it. Truly ridiculous.

Good review.

Re stitching - same problem evident in 458, Cali and F12 from previous experience - black dash/black stitch is the way forward.

Surprised no-one has commented on the brown-trouser moment in that video wink
Was thinking that when I watched the video!

Looks like a fantastic car McLaren are doing a great job at the moment.

Sounds like pretty much the perfect 21st century supercar. I'm still wanting the 458 speciale over it though wink

It was, no doubt just popping out for some milk again. We ended up with quite a lot of milk that weekend!

It's so much better looking than either the 12C or 650S it's unreal.

A lot of want.

The parking sensors are £2730. Is that the sensors or a camera as well? It seems a lot for about £50 of electronics if just the sensors, wiring and a 30p beeper.

Or are they using some left over gold from the F1 engine bay?

Who in the hell would spec carbon fibre wheel arch liners? £2,300 is obviously irrelevant to buyers of this but what's the point?

Are they the same ones that are options on the 540/570 - front and rear cameras with track lap recording?

It's so you can see the exposed carbon fibre when the doors are open.

I think it sounds great - like a slightly quieter version of a proper racing car. With that noise you expect it to be exiting the pits at Silverstone rather than driven on the road.

I'll doorstop my local dealer for a 675LT convertible. I might need to crowdfund a six figure sum if they say yes though...

That might be it, not so bad in that case. I'm still waiting for when the 540/570 reviews pop up, as you must be too, even more eagerly.

Not quite. parking sensors on the 675 are with the rear camera for your £2730. The track telemetry cameras are a seperate (expensive) option altogether.
