I brought 6 litres of oil to my Mercedes service the other day and we dropped the price from £325 to £200. If you don't ask you don't get !
A £125 discount using your own oil !!!!

Once I took in Mobil 1 to get my Saab 900 serviced. The service chap was very friendly and could understand why I wanted a particular oil. He told me that if I did it elsewhere and they moaned or groaned about it he told me to say that I work for Mobil/Shell/Etc and that it's company policy for me to use their brand.

I supply the oil and filter/sump gasket and plug for each oil service. The labour cost is some £34 only which is pretty lol, but they're more than happy to work on my car and look forward to it coming in. ECP for oil and filter, comes out MUCH cheaper than the garage sourced oil (they source from main dealer).

I would not use a garage that didn't let me supply parts and fluids for normal servicing.

I tried that with the champagne for my daughters wedding.
