I was born the same year and for me it wasn't a great year for car launches so I will go with the Ferrari BB but there isn't much greatness to choose from and I wish I was younger because cars certainly got a lot better I think in the 80`s and 90`s.]
That is quite a flattering angle for a BB, and that is a 512 not the 365 which came out in 1973! But as for greatness at that time there was also the Maserati Merak and the De Tomaso Pantera. And the mighty 365 GT4 - later known as the 400.Edited by rodericb on Tuesday 4th August 12:02

1974. I want pretty much everything here:

Okay maybe not the bus. On second thoughts...
Yes I know there's a Countach, but someone's had that and anyway, given my predilections, I'll have a Citroen CX thanks. As a kid in the 80s I loved them: they were ever present in french towns, always sheddy, dangling off high kerbs, like they'd just fallen asleep or got bored and drifted into the nearest verge, slope, fountain, whatever.
Plenty of pics of shiny ones, but this is more like it:

'55 vintage also, so it has to be this little beauty.

1994...
Ferrari 355!
E38 7 series wasn't bad...
P38 range rover a bit of a mixed bag...
We won't mention the ghastly eurovans.
The Volvo 850R touring car brick! Of significance as was carted about in an 850 at the time!
Fiat Cinquecento Sporting was fun.
964 Turbo 3.6 S
Not too shabby!
Edit out of those the 355 gets my vote!
