When I was 17 I had a £200 polo breadvan that was as old as I was. A great little car, so I'm going to say that one. Though maybe this time round I won't put 4 speakers in the back shelf.

Easy to forget what a lovely shape these are. Shame the later versions put on so much weight.

The best proportioned car ever made? It must be a strong contender.

I know I was born only a stones throw away from the McLaren factory, but I have a soft spot for these. (and her maybe....)

I was going to say the porsche 959 aswell, but it came out the year before. And more budget alternatives.

I loved the whole AX, 106, Saxo family, they where great fun to drive.

1976 was a good year! (Yes, I know the 308 was technically 1975, but it's sooooo pretty)
