Yet I'm the one bent out of shape?
Ah well..... Live & learn I guess!
We're like two idiots stood in adjacent glass houses, lobbing rocks at one another and wondering why the local glazier is laughing up his sleeve. Perhaps we ought to agree to disagree and leave it there?Ah well..... Live & learn I guess!
Or we could have one of those famous thread derailing personal spats that the PH collective love so much...
... Put it to a vote?
Should Jim AK and yellowjack:
a) Agree to disagree, part amicably and let the thread get back on track
or
b) Drag the thread down and descend to the traditional depths of internet disagreements, throwing around personal insults and veiled 'keyboard warrior' threats, potentially for weeks, until one or both are warned or even banned by a moderator

Yep.
They should get a school leaver to go & sell their stuff for £100 a week basic + commission & they should go to their appointments on a push bike!!
I suspect the driver was probably the MD of the company, has a whole rake of qualifications to sell medical stuff & the car is probably on contract for £350 a month!!
I've never understood why people get so bent out of shape over what car someone drives & that if you sell stuff to the NHS you must not make a profit under any circumstances.
I would have to agree with this, not really a crappy plate (quite a good one for the company) And a Jag XE is hardly a RR Phantom! They should get a school leaver to go & sell their stuff for £100 a week basic + commission & they should go to their appointments on a push bike!!

What do you guys think of smaller sized numberplates?
I'm talking about just the size of the physical plate itself, where the text font, text size, spacing, etc. is still all legal - just trimming the excess blank off the sides thats all
??
I quite like them on certain cars, Discovery rear comes to mind if it's a short plate.I'm talking about just the size of the physical plate itself, where the text font, text size, spacing, etc. is still all legal - just trimming the excess blank off the sides thats all
??
Know someone who's obsessed with 'cut down' plates, I think his Phantom or Bentley(s) are on here or Good plates thread somewhere but IMO they look really kak on those cars.

Love them on the front, got one on the front of my XJ, looks great! They do not look good if you use the plinth designed for a full-size plate however.I'm talking about just the size of the physical plate itself, where the text font, text size, spacing, etc. is still all legal - just trimming the excess blank off the sides thats all

Lease spec (white) Range Rover Sport, A1 South Mimms.
DE 13 BBY all squashed together to make 13 another B
Maybe DEBBBY has a speech impediment like Arkwright?
I know it's not nice to mock the afflicted if she has but I'm sure she hasn't. She just has a massive ego
No pic I'm afraid as she was behind me in the traffic.

A mate of mine has just spent the best part of £40,000 on a brand new Golf R and has put a four year old plate on it. It reads DJ 62 DJF he is a DJ, was born in 1962 and DJF are his initials. It's so personalised people seeing it will just wonder if it is a new car or just a very clean 4 year old one! He has no issue with the fact that he's the only person who knows its significance. Is this very clever (especially on a stealthy car like a Golf R) or just a bit odd?
