Watching an episode of 'The Coroner' recently and there was a Porsche 911 that played a prominent role in the story. The production company had decided to put...

Jeez, TV types? If you're going to make up a plate, you could at least ensure it has the right combination of numbers and letters so that it actually conforms to the UK standard layout. Every other car on screen seems to have either a genuine plate, or at least one that might be possible to get from DVLA. A really annoying error that distracted my from the task of drooling over Claire Goose every time it appeared on screen. Grrrr! irked

DR R 4-12 B on a black Range Rover Sport outside my house this morning. No idea what the plate was attempting to read tbh.

Sadly no picture however as the driver didn't fancy hanging around to allow me to grab once once I shouted at him further to his attempt to tt into my 205 GTI because he was too busy fiddling with a tablet in his lap punch

It was owned by Prudential; they sold the credit card business to Citi and the banking arm to Yorkshire BS. They just stopped doing insurance, where they were acting as a broker. The brand was closed down in 2011.
