A contradiction in terms if ever I saw one. I do hope those graphics are a company promo rather than someone's taste ...

Hoping to defeat 'safety cameras' by confusing the range finder?

Spotted on a gardeners Iveco van. At first I thought that's a bit racist.

Question to the nervous looking young wannabee driving this white low rent-decidedly-pcpd-looking white BMW 1 or 2 series meh eurobox:

Why not relax and try looking less like a deluded chavvy fkwit thinking you are impressing people with your illegal stplate on your Postman Pat mobile.....you just look like a desperate sad 'tard with a personality crisis, especially with your pathetic kissy kissy plate....hehe

UN15OFT

Driving out of the car park at Frimley Park Hospital last night.

"That'll be a medical rep's car" said my wife beside me. "They obviously make way too much money if the reps are swanning round in Jaguars (it was a nice looking XE) with private plates on."

Yep.

They should get a school leaver to go & sell their stuff for £100 a week basic + commission & they should go to their appointments on a push bike!!

I suspect the driver was probably the MD of the company, has a whole rake of qualifications to sell medical stuff & the car is probably on contract for £350 a month!!

I've never understood why people get so bent out of shape over what car someone drives & that if you sell stuff to the NHS you must not make a profit under any circumstances.

Well, I think you may have a point.

'ark at me and my left wing, works at the sharp end of the NHS, had just worked a full 17 hours straight wife! I'll be getting rid of her, sharpish. We would have been married 25 years this September, but she'll be hearing from a divorce lawyer, tout de suite, based entirely on your stiff-arsed reply.

And despite his "raft of qualifications" and his possible position as "MD of the company" he can't comply with a simple thing like "The LAW" regarding the spacing of characters on a vehicle registration plate. Why would I believe that he'd play nice with contract law and pricing policy in his dealings with the NHS? Do you pay tax? If so, are you absolutely happy to see the NHS paying over the odds for the stuff that saves lives? Stents, etc, that can cost tens of thousands of pounds for a single procedure? We're not talking about someone rounding up on bulk packs of Aspirin here...

...and besides all that, maybe it ought to go into the 'Real Good' plates thread, because at a glance it was recognisable as being connected with the company. But then again, what's the point? No prospective punter is going to place thousands of pounds worth of orders with them because they saw the car out on the road and recognised the brand name on a rectangular plate. They're selling in a captive market, so in my humble opinion displaying that plate incorrectly is simply overstuffed hubris.

Oh, and please don't round on me like that, as I haven't delivered MY opinion to this thread. I simply repeated what a tired nurse remarked when she first spotted the plate. Even then, she's hardly what I'd describe as "Bent out of shape" about it. I doubt she even remembers seeing it now. The only person appearing to be bent out of shape here is you, as far as I can see... tongue out

We're like two idiots stood in adjacent glass houses, lobbing rocks at one another and wondering why the local glazier is laughing up his sleeve. Perhaps we ought to agree to disagree and leave it there?

Or we could have one of those famous thread derailing personal spats that the PH collective love so much...

... idea Put it to a vote?

Should Jim AK and yellowjack:

a) Agree to disagree, part amicably and let the thread get back on track

or

b) Drag the thread down and descend to the traditional depths of internet disagreements, throwing around personal insults and veiled 'keyboard warrior' threats, potentially for weeks, until one or both are warned or even banned by a moderator
