Lexus on the A66 today proudly sporting MR 05 COX. Made worse by the 05 being in smaller size font to emphasise the MR COX

How desperate...

Couldn't get a pic but a Golf GTi with C11 ROL with the two 1s spaced really close and two black bolts to make it look like an 'A'

Anyone? confused
Other than perhaps needing a slightly bigger gap between the letters and numbers I'm not sure why that's been posted either.

I'd go with most likely because it's illegal. That's a much more robust defining factor of whether a plate is real good or crap as it relies on actual facts that nobody can argue over rather than any single persons opinion which anybody else can.

That doesn't define it as "crappy" but as illegal; which would be fine if the title of the thread was "What illegal plates have you seen lately".

"Crappy" is subjective, and there's nothing crappy about that plate in my opinion.

All unlawful plates are crappy, by definition.

How can any mis-spaced, wrongly coloured or butchered plate, or one with a ludicrous font be anything else?

Some lawful plates are crappy, but this is subjective. And the poster's views should be respected.

The last time I saw that plate was in the Essex Badlands. By the looks of it, they've now removed the slogan "Nasty Alex Wood" that used to run along the bottom of the plate.

Which makes it cringeworthy before you even see the plate imo

So let me get this right. You say unlawful=crappy? And how do you come up with that wonderful "definition" because its not one I've ever seen defined anywhere or that I subscribe to.

Crappy is subjective, we probably agree on many that fall into our respective "crappy" definitions, but unlawful only = crappy in your subjective opinion. Not by definition.

Edited to remove further other comment as this isn't the place for a continued debate!
