But this thread is about the plates being altered to misrepresent, that plate could have been issued to anyone, there arent there plenty of FA57 plates out there.

In any case, a minor offence if there is one.
Sorry, I thought the first post said this:

Friday 9th November 2012

"There's a black 911 Turbo S parked up on the A3 in Clapham more often than not when I ride home in the evenings with the number plate PE05CHE.

It's a lovely car, but what the hell is the number plate supposed to be??? I imagine it's owned by some sort of inbred aristocrat with a name like S'bstyn - all the vowels carefully removed so that they can be redeployed in totally unexpected places, such as in the sentence "look at my Peosche".

Anyone else seen any particular duffers recently?"

IMO its CR4P, not the worst offender and not illegal but each to their own I guess.

None of the kids in the 6 year olds English remedial class would agree though. Everyone of them would know for sure you can't spell anything with numbers and if the fat kid at the back of the class told Miss you could they'd all fall about laughing at how thick he was and probably beat him up at break time.

Mmm....overall rather unconvincing. And a bit boring. Yawn.

I would suggest you are taking this waay to seriously. Just because people don't get excited about your 'lifestyle choice vehicle' scratchchin theres no need to go off on one. You were the one who chose to reveal proud ownership of the car not me. After all, is this not a car forum? hehe

Anyway, as this is now off topic and with respect to this great thread we'll leave it there.

Finally, I must remind myself to get your superior approval before I next post......biggrin:

Yes, but if properly spaced, it is a little bit of fun, within the law, nobody died, I am very against the utterly bastardised ones but I would probably smile if I saw that out and about.

It does look like it spells Fastest, within the constraints of the format, a lot would read it as such, our brains are tuned to look for meanings and patterns.

Would you ban any combinations that may resemble a word, would you prevent owners being able to buy a specific combination and insist they are all state issued and non transferable ?

I really can't get my head around the hatred and anger about a missed spaced number plate. The venom towards the owners is bizarre.

I think they look stupid but they certainly don't stir up any anger, I'll save that the for more important issues in life.

There are a lot of very angry unhappy people on PH, clearly they're not getting enough sex. Luckily I get loads, so I don't get upset about crappy number plates!

Not really, just letters and numbers, no mis-spacing and I can't see any 'one life, live it' etc quotes at the bottom.

An absolutely wonderful plate. Admiration just doesn't cover it.
