I remember seeing a plate in Manchester probably 20 years ago, might have been on a Merc SL:

ALK1E

Asking to get pulled over, even back then!

FA51 BMW - BMW 430D 'XDRIVE M SPORT AUTO'

Now it's displayed perfectly legally, and I'll probably be shunned for posting this, but it just looks crap. Every time I see it it just looks like the owner was going for 'FAST BMW' but couldn't stretch to that plate. Being as how it's a 2014 car, then I'm going with crap plate, bang-to-rights...

There are other perfectly legal plates I've seen that look like poor attempts at 'spelling' words too. It may be an entirely random plate generated by the DVLA at registration in some cases, but some plates simply don't "look right" to my eyes.

From the "Preposterous Exhaust Pipes" thread - the car is "Lush" evidently:

Saw a Holden (Vauxhall) VXR8 with the plate K88P BK (Keep Back) this morning on the A2 near Gravesend. Sounded suitably meaty.

Not jealousy, just amazed at the hubris, vanity and insecurity and the almost certain poor driving of chavplaters.

Spotted today on the M6 (near Birmingham, the home of chav plating), BL15 STT. Spaced as 'BL15S TT' with the five slightly re-shaped. When will these idiots grow up??

Hardly! I don't do jealousy, but even if I did, it wouldn't be for a chav plate, and certainly not for an Audi Titty!

Yesterday I saw the slightly nauseatingly mis-spaced XH07 TUB on an RRS. I'm sure you can work it out...

Chavplates and Chavplaters are similar in some ways to certain kinds of quality comedy....think Blackadder, Fools and Horses and Steptoe and Son (no I am not very old really!). Testament to writing, production and acting of the highest quality, these British gems are a perfect blend of extremely difficult to do comedy and tragedy....although of course with the accent on comedy whereas chavplates can be comedic albeit on a much lower level......but invariably with the slant on tragedy in particular applying to the deluded fkwit chavplaters themselves hehe.

M13 K G X Kissy kissy 'Toerag'.

M BORLOW rofl A3.

CROSFAR 'Defecating dog' Crossfire. hehe

CEO AYAZ Course you are scratchchin Probably worse than a 'BOSS' Chavplate.......at least outside Chavplating circles.

A ULLAH Merc.

And the Chavplating Monday Moron award goes to this highly bastardised tragedy:

WOOLFY beaten up Zafira.

Anyway, why would you be jealous if you drove a Boxster S?

What's wrong with that?
GTRs are Ace - seems fair enough to me. The problem I have with that is that it should black not grey, but there you go...
