Too late for a ninja edit but Do you always throw st before checking facts - even when it takes 30 secs to run a DVLA vehicle check??

Just so I know for the future biggrin
Based on the posts that proceeded mine about it being a 120d, etc, I thought I'd have a bit of a joke about how the majority of the engine converted cars are usually still registered as the model it started out as and what is normally attached to the text description of the relevant for sale ad. It was also made as a reference to the long running logbook thread - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=120... - where you'd normally find them posted getmecoat

It is genuinely surprising, but also nice to see, that some people do register the conversions smile

I guess I could have run it through the DVLA checker but as my comment wasn't meant to be serious I didn't think it was worth it tbh smilegetmecoat

This makes interesting reading, 8 years ago but I would guess nothing's changed.

Surprised they're so proud of their car that they'd go to the lengths of getting this plate.

Outside BM of course.
What's wrong with BM ?
Has been ridiculed to death on the 'council' thread.

On a Range Rover Sport TDV6 that had been pulled by plod in Stratford Upon Avon on Wednesday afternoon. Car was a strong contender for the badly modified thread too. Gastly colour combo of black paint, black wheels, and a ropey bronze/gold fat stripe down the bonnet with accents of the same colour on other areas of the car.

I refrained from taking a photo because the 'orrible scrote being written up by the two officers had a face like a bulldog licking ps off a thistle. I feared he might hunt me down at some later date if I got my camera out at that moment. Plus I was with my wife, and she tries to disown me when I take pictures of stuff to upload here.

Some proper bad plates, not av185 scraping the bowl.
That 1m does actually have a bmw v8 under the bonnet so...
Unfortunately it's not a 1M...! It's a 120d that started life in Space Grey and has had a colour changed to a none 1M colour...!
I've seen that car around social media. The owner is extreeeeemely defensive and any criticism of her choices is met with a startling amount of anger. Much like most on here actually come to think of it. laugh

Costa is now council, full of flubber lubbers drinking their supersize chocolate milky drinks with squirty cream, it's on a par with McDonalds

Have the mods given him a little holiday/break/rest??
For once I hope.. god he was on this thread 5 times a day with his cheesy jokes
it was rather dominating the thread.....
Good, hope it's a long one.

I used to like this thread and was quite proud of my few contributions but he had put me off reading with the constant repetition of tedious, unfunny "jokes" which served no end other than to make him look like a dick.

That is hairing splits. But see following posts where it is said that Costa and all retail parks are council!

Sort that one out.argue
