I couldn't work out what he had done to make it look (somewhat) like an N from a distance across the car park, and then as I got closer it turned out to be even worse than I expected laugh

That "Colin" plate is pretty tragic and has to be on a par with the "Playboy" one with regards to use of slogans / images.

Some proper bad plates, not av185 scraping the bowl.
That 1m does actually have a bmw v8 under the bonnet so...
Unfortunately it's not a 1M...! It's a 120d that started life in Space Grey and has had a colour changed to a none 1M colour...!
Aha, that's what I meant. It's not an original 1M, it's just that the owner decided to give the car that moniker after its engine swap, so people refer to it as a "1M".

I can’t get over-excited by mis-spaced plates. I’m sure any 6th former could write a computer program to compare AN51E RN and CR05BY X against a list of legitimate plates to come up with the real registrations. Even a bit of butchering and there are probably less than a handful of legitimate combinations that match, not too difficult to rule most of them out based on vehicle type, colour etc.
However, I do take issue with blatant alterations to characters.
Would be OK by my criteria except for the strangely positioned black screw cap.

"AR51 FKA"

Apologies for the horrific quality. Wetherby services was beseiged by "bare knuckle boxing" fans on sunday, and i couldnt escape the half drunk cans of fosters quick enough.

note, the Ecto1 rep is infact based on a Rover, and that is a dukes of hazzard peugeot two up from it.

Please explain the crappiness of this plate? It's a Guernsey or Jersey plate I reckon? I think it's very stylish in black and silver, and can't see what could possibly be wrong with the number and letters combination?

The plate looks like a legal plate to me, and it's clearly legible. It should only be that colour on an older car but that really is illegal on a technicality. If others want to get upset about it, fine, but it doesn't raise my blood pressure personally.

No doubt someone will be along to tell me I'm a gauche, chavvy benefits scrounger and this Porsche is completely ruined by a black and silver plate.
