What C124PPY personalised plates have you seen recently?
Discussion
D6NY M - on a 2003 911 Turbo.
-
and whilst I'm not posting it as a necessarily "crappy" plate, anyone have any thoughts as to the potential value of...
DB11 SPY ???
Because I spotted it today at The Meadows in Camberley, but it was not on the car I'd expect to see it on. It was displayed on a silver Golf, signwritten on the sides (but I forget what for). Someone speculating on getting a bite from a DB11 owning Bond fan? It has to have been transferred to the Golf, because it was a 2016 car. Would DVLA have let the plate get issued as a random number? Or was it bought to be traded on...? It doesn't show up as a result when I do an "auction sold search" on the DVLA site.

A tool might pay a monkey for it, only if he / she were a proper tool though. Any plate referencing 007 or spies is pitiful.-

G4R XX - Hi 'Gar'! Hope it didn't emasculate you too much being handed your arse today through the Elvetham Heath estate by a bicycle. All those roundabouts must have been a real problem for your convertible A3. Must put hairs on your chest though, if you drive it with the roof down?
MR 51MTH - Paging Mr Simth! Paging Mr Simth! If you'd like to come to the reception desk, we have the results of that dyslexia test for you. Another Audi, this time a Q5 S Line+ TDi Quattro no less.
BOB51E - Range Rover Vogue, driven by a chap who was clearly old enough to have known better than to hack up a number plate like that. If I didn't know better,
I'd have sworn he was embalmed.

They lied.
He's a bit of a st kicker so won't draw hid attention to this thread.....
CJ 51EVE on a Golf "R32" - Nice of "CJ" to advertise their love for kitchen sieves Or more likely it's just a rather poor attempt at "Steve".
Bonus points are awarded to CJ / Steve, aka Mr Sieve Lover, for spending a fair bit of time and £££ dressing the car up as an R32. Unfortunately the plan fails badly due to the heavy belching clouds of smoke billowing out of the exhaust that identify it as a poverty spec DPF gutted diesel that is nowhere near as fast as the owner would like people to think it is
Also, RA11Y UK advertised as being "the perfect plate for your WRC, Rally or Rally replica car", on a FaceAche page.

Well spotted. It's actually a 2004 2 litre Golf GT TDI.Bonus points are awarded to CJ / Steve, aka Mr Sieve Lover, for spending a fair bit of time and £££ dressing the car up as an R32. But links above to databases all come up blank, as does the DVLA's own site, and cartell.ie. And I think it's safe to assume that such a plate wouldn't make it past the censors and killjoys who compile the DVLA's infamous "do not issue" list of potentially offensive registration numbers. So even if it isn't a photoshop, I'm pretty certain it's going to turn out to be a fake...
