Mercedes C200 today...

R J0 8ALL

...seriously, R-Jo? It's crap. You know it, I know it, and every person that ever saw it thinks so to. They're just too polite/sympathetic to mention it to your face. But they are all laughing up their sleeves at you, you sad, deluded fool.

Three for the price of one, the Audi also parks in a really annoying place and stays there most of the day & night while the car they obviously use is out leaving the drive empty all day.

If the image isn't clear enough the cars in the background are:

At a glance this appears to be a nice dateless plate, 66 REB. That's the underhand intention, anyway.

But something just didn't look right to me.

Here we have G6 REB shamelessly misrepresented by a) using a butchered 6 instead of a G, and b) the use of a bolt to fill the gap.

How are these cheapskates allowed to get away with this sort of thing?

I dislike the unlawful use of non-standard fonts, logos, black and white plates on modern cars etc. as much as the next person, but this is a different league.

It's a clear case of misrepresenting a plate to a different registration number. In cases like this where an attempt is made to deceive the vehicle's identity I firmly believe they should forfeit the plate and be given a huge fine.

Disgraceful, and about as illegal as can get.

As always, I feel sorry for the owner of the real plates that could end up with fines or tickets on behalf of clowns like the above.

Luckily '66 REB' doesn't appear to be on the road.

What really made me laugh was the conversation at Birmingham Airport car park when I arrived there a little while ago.

The car park barriers use ANPR cameras to recognise the registration of people who've pre-booked their tickets. Mr Knob with his chavved-up illegal plate (can't remember what it was - at 04:30 I wasn't that interested) was having a proper rant at the poor call operative about the ANPR not working. Well, Mr Knob, maybe if you spaced your number plate correctly, and used the correct font, you'd have been able to get into the car park easily.

Saw FLY 130Y on an old shape X5 with gangsta tints all round, butchered to look like FLY BOY this morning in Eastbourne. No signal or indication of what they were doing on a major roundabout either!

RS 07 XXX

Black chavved up RS4 trying to big time it driving like a knob disturbing the peace and tranquility of Grasmere.

Another own goal for the 'Aldi' membership of CAC (Crappy Audi Chavplaters) with this hideous vanity kissy kissy plate....hehe

Interesting comments, but would you believe me if I told you G6 REB isn't the worst misrepresentation I've seen?

Ladies and gentlemen, I present the pièce de résistance. It puts G6 REB to shame.

I spotted it last summer on a Bentley, of all cars. WO will be spinning in his grave.

As you can see I was sitting behind it at the traffic lights, scratching my head working out what this "M4 DEMO" plate could be - let alone what the dickens it was supposed to mean.

And I'm into plates, so god help anybody who was trying to recollect the plate for a police inquiry or other eventuality.

I obviously saw through the dodgy spacing, but it didn't occur to me for a good few seconds that ANYBODY could be so brazen as to use a D instead of the 0 character.

Alas, I had 3G signal and my phone's MyCarCheck app confirmed that this is, indeed, M40 EMO.

Not only should they confiscate the plate but the car - it's so illegal. I wouldn't want to overstate its case without merit so please correct me if I'm wrong, but all things considered, this is surely a hall-of-famer?

That Bentley just crossed the line from 'misrepresentation' to 'make up any bloody plate you like' eek
