Went shopping for about 20 minutes at a large complex in Belgium, came back to find a big bin had been emptied all over the bonnet and roof of my LP560. Packed car park, broad daylight.
The bin was lying next to the car, it was one of those big mesh ones that goes inside a wooden or concrete surround so I set off looking for it so it wouldn't be left rolling around. I checked the whole place and there were no bins, it hadn't come from there, they'd actually taken the time to drive off and get it from somewhere else!
I just don't understand the mindset of these people, why do they do it, and to such a beautiful car?The bin was lying next to the car, it was one of those big mesh ones that goes inside a wooden or concrete surround so I set off looking for it so it wouldn't be left rolling around. One thought regarding your incident, did the shopping complex have CCTV, in which case they may have caught the vandalism on camera.
And I know it's not much help now, but most dash cams can be hard-wired in so they record all the time if necessary, in order to catch instances like this, then you can deal with the situation as you see fit.
Pulled into a garage once to use a cash machine in a Ferrari, large bunch of teenagers standing around. One of them nodded at me as I got out so I gave a cheery "Alright lads!" greeting, when I returned they'd run off and the car was covered in spit.
My usual reaction to stuff like this is that I couldn't wish anything worse on these people than being the bitter s they already clearly are.

Except he's pushing a £2000 pram.
I think expensive goods were heavily discounted during the London riots.Foliage said:
I'm just saying that I think the man is more affluent than you guys think. He probably has a grudge against the owner of the car as apposed to just envy.
There is absolutely no chance whatsoever that fake goods are available in London? No chance at all? He definitely paid £2,000 for that push chair?Thermobaric][tinfoil hat on said:
Plot twist. Could be a video from a dash cam company intended to go viral and sell dashcams cam ha ha.
Convenient, framing of 'culprit'...Has anyone seen any pics of the damage?

I would like to see him asked why he did it, I suspect justice will be served in that it will end up in a conviction and him having to pay the victim at £1 a week.Hopefully the scratters will see a fellow scratter being caught for what, in the past was usually a very hard crime to ever catch someone for and perhaps it might register in their tiny, bitter little pea brains that scratching someone's car in a vindictive and motiveless manner may actually have some consequences and that the fleeting excitement and feeling of righteousness might not be worth it, same as with so many charming displays of anti social behaviour that get videoed and go global in minutes, I noticed the fat Peugeot driving anti cyclist being commented on by the bloke from Fast and Loud the other day.
I would like the punishment to be that the Aston owner gets to go round and cut the guys tracksuits up.

To be honest I don't know if the guy is affluent or not, I just see him as a dick scratching a car. Maybe something happened earlier in the car park ?There are lots of reasons a person might behave like that.
He might be envious and spiteful.
He might be an environmentalist.
He might be an anti-capitalist eat the rich sort who never shuts up about bankers and "the 1%".
He might have some reason to resent fast cars.
He might have a personal grudge against the driver (or against a person he thinks is the driver)
He might just be mental.
We won't know until they catch him.
