EP3's had leather as a rather unpopular option.

I had a '94 Impreza with leather seats, I believe they were all re-trimmed in the UK rather than being a factory fit.

Some interesting options on my (ex police) 330d...

Is that somewhere to stick your Glock or your truncheon?
No, just the fuses for the electric seats.

I remember seeing this when I was younger, even then I thought "A Fiesta... with leather?"

Whoever specced my Leon back in 2006 decided not to tick any options apart from cruise control and, for some bizarre reason, privacy glass. Who options privacy glass in a 5-door hatch?!
Standard fit aren't they, my 07 leon has both and they weren't options came as standard . Privacy glass is handy with kids and dogs

Absolutely love watching this, it's a fantastic period piece. Here's the full version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQsMFQZa8os

Also strikes you how empty the roads where compared to now.
It's fantastic, I have had so much fun watching it!!! biggrin

My clio 197 had every option bar recaros and the cup pack (was too early a model for them) which also gave it a panoramic sunroof. Very common in standard mk3 clios but very rare on the Renaultsports (197 had a few 200s there are 2)

I actually had someone go over my car at French car show a few years back absolutely convinced mine was a replica because of the sunroof (i'd only seen 2 others myself in my 4 years owning it)

That reminds me! The leather Recaro option for the Clio 200's, was only an option for a very short time IIRC.

Disappointed that his new Astra didn't have more CD badging on it because...'it's difficult for someone following you to know that you're driving a CD Astra.'

I had an EP3 with these, loved the seats, but not the stickiness when the A/C broke and we drive 4k miles across Europe in July - it was black with tinted windows and all!

In 1986, electric reclining rear seats in the Granada Scorpio really impressed me. You can just see the switch in the pic below (which I know is of a later model!)

I’ve also had a few E46 M3’s over the years with TV, rear electric blind, Voice recognition, and Bluetooth – all of which were quite rare in 2002! Current models of course have a head up display.
I had a 2001 manual with small screen satnav/tv rear blind and voice recognition, but no bluetooth (I think it was 2004/5 by the time that became available), but my 2002 SMG car (ex-demo bought to replace the manual car when it was stolen) had the rarest option (apart from its fabulous Avus Blue paint): TrafficMaster! A knob on the dashboard that brought up a display that replaced the normal screen display and was supposed to show traffic all over the country. The graphics looked like something from the Sinclair Spectrum. It was completely separate from the SatNav and TMC rendered it utterly pointless.

I had my eye on a set on eBay but remembered how hard it was to hold on when hard cornering in the EP3 I drove with a set once!

I was thinking the same myself, fat geezer is driving a Cavalier fcs. I wonder what would happen if an E32 750 or mid '90:s equivalent of S-class Benz drove up behing his awesomeness of a rep mobile. One can only imagine the shame on fattys face wink .

Pretty sure the glass was optional, though you might be right about cruise control. Can't see another TFSI Sport on Google Images with rear privacy glass, though I could just be being thick/blind.
