The Poxhalls/Opels with the integrated bike rack are quite common here in Euroland.... Renault also offer it on some models.

My Ovlov XC90 has a 2.5keuro paint job and a 2k+euro standalone diesel heater for the cabin and engine block (very rare outside nordic countries).
€2k for a Webasto heater?

It was a £200 option on a Rover 75 when new (although the "parking heater" module, which is basically just a remote control was an extra £350!).

I fear that I could never buy a new car just because I know I'd go crazy with the options!

Mk1 new Mini came with option of rear light clusters that appeared white (and aftermarket).
I was one of those people that specified that when new.

That said, I resisted the full implementation of the dealer-fit option as there should be red reflectors cut into the bumper (that never looked right). I bought the BMW ones (the Lexus-esque ones looked horrible) and fitted them without the reflector kit. That said, I and the car lived in Jersey so a greyer area on the need for a rear-mounted red reflector on the car than it would have been in the UK.

I once bought an EX a 2001 Punto sporting which had Dot Matrix Sat Nav and a built in Bose subwoofer!
Subwoofer was standard on the Sportings and the Sat Nav was standard fit on the HGT version nerd

I seem to have a rare but free option on my car. Since I took delivery I have not seen another 5 series "M Sport" on the road with them fitted (estate or saloon). Can you guess what it is?

indicators?
