Nobody thinks the wheels are way oversized on the Wiesmann? That just looks massively out of proportion to me, and the little suspension travel left won't help dynamics. It's not like this was supposed to be a track car, right?
You can get bigger or smaller wheels, but when you see them for real they mostly look very good with the car. Also the very short suspension seems to be very good, it works very good, even better then a lot other sport cars, look up some videos were some testers at first also had some doubts
They also made a track version, the MF4-CS
They are driving fun cars, not specially for track, but they seem to be very good also on track, there is a video were they test a MF5 against a Porsche 911 GT3 RS on a small track, let me see if I can find that...
ah, it was not against but to see if it could go faster around that track then the Porsche GT3 RS at that time.
@ 7.30 you can see the score.
But it was not that easy, hard work he said.

The big question remains how much demand is there for a costly sports car with none of the benefits of mass production. Jag, Porsche, Ferrari and others are all churning out excellent product these days. It's no good selling the first few in flurry of excitement unless the customers will keep on coming. Spyker and others have shown just how tough that can be.

A lot better fitting on that MF5 IMO, thanks for the link. The basic shape is ace IMO, and what a nice noise! But still think (much) smaller wheels would work and look better on the road focused versions. Ieder zijn ding and all that .DonkeyApple said:

True sadly, and where the big three decide to stick bits of fake trim is the least of the problems. It does lead to some creative auto critic (no pun intended) songs at least, so not all is lost ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2E30CqEodg ) .lets say they use the tamora t350 chassis as a base, fit that with a cosworth 4 litre v8 engine producing 400 bhp, 2 seater , coupe, aluminium and leather cockpit .
same suspension geometry set up....
similar design maybe to this for body shape..
they could go down the route taken by noble back in the mid 2000's and have most of the car made in by outsourcing the work and noble just did final installation of engine etc .

I must admit, I never liked the look of the Marcos and found the interior to be extremely dated with a flat plank dash more akin with 70s/80s cars like the Wedges. In the 90s the Marcos interior really highlighted what an immense step forward the Griff and Chim interiors were and why they were much more appealing.

I think the Marcos looks ruddy great as a racer, not so much as a road car and the convertible is plain daft - you can just imagine the chest hair & medaillon, sunglasses and worrying dress sense of the original owner.
