It's a small one, but I like the lip spoiler on the 981 Cayman/Boxster that cuts into the rear lights.

The Carerra GT does look fking stupid with the spoiler up. Function over form in that respect.

Interesting one regarding the MR2 spoiler. I recall reading that it was meant to create low pressure and draw air through the engine for cooling. However, it has a scoop along the top that definitely looks like it was designed to catch air and create downforce.

Honda Civic hatch gen 8

Great idea to reduce rear visibility for extra downfarce on the A1.

Most of the good ones have already been mentioned on page 1.

Subaru SVX. Could be had with a modestly taller spoiler but the basic lip is nicely integrated into the design.

I can think of plenty of other integrated spoilers, but none of them look good.

I have always liked the subtle spoiler formed in the metal of the boot lid on the Jaguar XJ40 and BMW E32 7 Series.

Erm, yeah, but it's integral to the design of the gt regardless of it being plastic, the design would not work otherwise, as per your first post, no?
I think the design would work though, sure it wouldn't be a GT but it still wouldn't look out of place (I do think the design works better with the spoiler but I don't think it's an integral part)

Mkiv Supra spoiler wins for me on account of looking like something of an afterthought/ tacked-on, and yet still being a perfect fit with the car and becoming somewhat iconic in its own right.

Not sure on its functionality/ effectiveness, but still gets my vote.

Says the guy who chose to delete the spoiler on his own Supra:

The naturally upswept shape of the tailgate was equally pleasant to my eye, and crucially was a bit different.

Nay. I think the design would work without it, sure it wouldn't be an M3 but it still wouldn't look out of place (I do think the design works better with the spoiler but I don't think it's an integral part) wink

The convertible M3 came without a rear spoiler, to give an idea of the looks without it.

Cizeta Moroder V16t

Vector M12

Vector WX3

I like the Cizeta, but the rest of them are quite ghastly.

Pedant mode wink
The OP asked about spoilers
^^^those are spoilers. See how they spoil the airflow to make it detach from the back of the car.
Many of the other photos are wings
