Bonus points for the most obscure brand out there!
For a short while, I owned a Hommell, AICMFP

In all, and including company cars and classics, it's at least 44 cars from at least 15 manufacturers in 27 years.

I've had two Renaults (both Mk.1 Clios) and two Peugeots (both Mk.2 406s)

Though one of the 406s is a Coupe, and is therefore also a Pininfarina (designed and built at Pininfarina's plant in San Giorgio Canavese, just outside Turin), but using running gear shipped there from PSA's plant in Sochaux, France. It's the least French car I've ever owned biglaugh

Since 1992:

Triumph, Citroen x12 I think, VW x2, Ford, Fiat x4, Lancia, Nissan, Bertone, Alfa Romeo, Subaru x2.

Back when company cars were financially viable I had a couple of Vauxhalls and a Renault too, but that wasn't my own money so they don't count.

There have been a good spread of cars posted so far. I have had a similar range from Vauxhall, Ford, Jaguar, TVR, Peugeot, Toyota, VW, Nissan.

I have always found it strange when people only buy one make of car. I've seen a few PH profiles/garages where all their current and previous cars have been BMWs for example. Try different things, you might just find something new that you like! (No I don't mean the latest 320d)

Six, which coincidentally is the same as the number of cars I've owned.

It's highly likely that the next car I buy will be a different brand again. Life's too short for fan-boy-ism. smile

12 brands, or is it 12.5 (see * below)

Alvis
Armstrong Siddely (x0.5)
Austin (x0.5)
Delahaye
Ford (x2.5) *
Mercedes (x3)
MG
Morris (x4)
Rover (x3)
Subaru
Vauxhall
Volvo
VW

The Ford * (shared) was an 1172 special of unknown parentage - fibreglass body on semi-spaceframe chassis. The other 2 are of no interest whatsoever.
Edited to add the half share I had in an Armstrong Twiddly which had slipped my mind.
