Since 1986...

4x Ford (2x MK1 Escort, 1x Mk1 Mondeo, 1x Mk2 Mondeo)
2x MG (2x Midget)
2x Vauxhall (1x MK2 Cavalier, 1x Vectra)
1x Suzuki (SJ410)
1x Daihatsu (Sportrak)
1x Isuzu (Trooper)
1x VW (Mk1 Golf GTi)
1x Peugeot (306)
1x Audi (A3 Quattro Sport)
1x Volvo (740 - Part ownership - Banger Rally car)
1x Saab (9000 - Part ownership - Banger Rally car)

So that's 16 cars, 11 makes
Some good, some bad, and some (Vectra) downright ugly!!!

Looking back, I shouldn't have scrapped the escorts - they were knackered, but these days someone would have wanted them for the shells at least.
I should have scrapped the Vectra FAR earlier than I did!

'Real' (ie Abingdon) MG- x2. Why I bought the 2nd I'll never know.
BL- x2. Similar comments apply.
Rover- x1. Much better than I ever expected it to be.
Longbridge MG- x1. Again, massively better than I might have expected.
Fiat- x3. Cheap pieces of crap to abuse.
Mercedes- x2. I refer to my earlier comments about not knowing why I bought the 2nd.
Saab- x3. Excellent vehicles that are sadly no longer made.
Range Rover- x1. Nice car if you have a decent workshop & enjoy tinkering.
Jaguar- x1. Lovely vehicle, surprising inexpensive to run.
Ford- x1. Dull but reliable motorway hack & general load-lugger.
Hyundai- x1. Reliable, economical, well-made, underpowered.
Peugeot-x3. Nice, economical, fun, unreliable.
BMW-x1. Pleasant, comfortable, dull.
Total 13 manufacturers.

Add motorbikes from Honda, Yamaha & Kawasaki.

I have been driving for nine years and have owned, in no particular order:

Citroen
Renault
Honda
Volvo x3

I have just bought a Subaru too, an old WRX, it's nawt special but I have always wanted the scratch the itch and a friend was selling his - rude not to IMO! I'm not collecting it for a fortnight though so it isn't really mine yet, but it will be! What wl the neighbours say? The curtain twitching old duffers. hehe

Vauxhall:

1.4 sri 2001
1.8 sri 2005
1.8 z20let conversion same as above
1.4 sri 2004

And now another 1.8 sri

I'm doing it wrong aren't I?

Looks quite depressing tbh, lots of money wasted! Can't fault the 1.8 though.
