we do...had our new 4 series delivered very kindly by BMW a day before the '65 kicked in on Monday. (For this reason it had to stay on the drive and couldn't be driven till yesterday)

safe to say we love it.

These would be rubbish if they didn't have the 'grancoupe' badge near the C pillar.
Because of this, I like them quite a bit.
Is it just me or is it nearly impossible to distinguish a 3, 4 or 5 series BMW now?
The designers really did have a few years off.

I'm currently on holiday on the Isle of Wight, but that hasn't stopped me, like a child with an I-Spy book, from spotting my first couple of cars on the new plate. biggrin I know it's not as exciting as it used to be, but for simpletons like myself it's still something different every six months. I didn't see anything interesting, sadly, with the first being a Mazda CX-3 and the second a Ford Ka.

Any lucky PHers got one? thumbup
Wheres that baghead smiley because I must admit to quite liking the new CX-3..... If I had to buy a small crossover thingy, that'd be it. In petrol of course.

getting like Audi now.

Corporate front, corporate rear and then you spec the X,Y,Z dimensions of the amount of car you want in between.

Last night saw a bog standard Fiesta Ecoboost in Silver as my 1st 65 spot.
I'm currently Waiting on my 208gti Lease, ordered 5th June so must be coming soon! Fingers crossed!
I've been without a car for last 3weeks now as my last daily, Ford Cougar v6 sold in just 5 days which I didn't expect!

i saw a merc gle coupe 63 on the way home. what a awful POS for my first spot, promptley followed by a brown nissan pulsar.

i picked up my fiesta st this time last week. so just missed out on the 65 plate.
How strange, you collect a fiesta, yet consider a Merc 63 to be an awful POS. I know which I would sooner have.

Followed this down the M4 this morning - my first 65 plate, and a good one! Aston Martin Rapide, though sadly you can't read the plate.

I don't think he means ALL Merc 63's, just the abomination that is the GLE coupe. Much like the X6M. If I could have any Merc 63 I wouldn't choose the GLE.

The wife got her brand new 65 plate Juke yesterday.

Hardly worth a photo really...

I can hardly contain my indifference!

Instead of going on about how everything looks the same, I'm going to say that it looks very nice, and it's nice to see one with a proper engine in it!

Thanks mate. Fits the bill perfectly for us and looks a bit more interesting than a 3 series, and a 5 series would be too big. Plus, its a niche car so we'll see a lot less of them on the road.

and to the others who commented on it... glad ya like it.

No offence Irfan (I really like the 4 series - and it's a nicer car than mine!), but Triumpoh Man.. I wouldn't consider the 20d a proper engine? Needs to be a straight six surely?

None taken. agreed I imagine Triumphman misread the badge for a 30 or 35.. still, its the smallest engine we've owned but its surprised me how much shove it has, mated to the ZF8 g'box its a pleasure to drive for a daily run around.

^^Agree, the 20d unit is probably one of the best 4 cylinder diesel lumps. Got to borrow a friends F30 320d with the 8 speed box (think he had one of those "tuning boxes" that ups the fuel rail pressure too) and I was very surprised by just how much shove it had

No comments made on folk's new Fiesta or other white goods but a BMW get all the expert critique..?
In complete agreement with the above, this car looks quite beautiful!

Whoops sorry yeah I did (on my phone) plus saw twin exhaust tips so thought it was a 6... Still, I stand by my earlier compliment that it's a very nice car

Not quite as flash as most on here, I was going to wait for the 65 plate for my new daily but SEAT were offering £2k discount on 15 plate stock. Would have liked the HID Xenon/LED lights but the tight yorkshireman in me couldn't turn down two grand!

Saw precisely zero yesterday, woke up this morning to see one of the neighbours had collected their bright yellow Focus ST smile
