RE: Lotus vs. Porsche: Pic Of The Week

Yes just a shame i had to sell her. We did a 3k euro trip back in 2013 in it. Wonderful'machine for covering distance in even though it is the cup model. Entry and exit issue would pain me for daily use though. If lotus address this issue they would double sales over night, once you are in there is no better place to be in the sports car world (for driving that is).

The 360 Cup can also be spec'd with a stereo but I really think Lotus shouldn't water down the Cup brand.
It's not exactly difficult to remember to bring some headphones for your ipod or smartphone.
Everyone moans about the entry and exit but I don't think they've thought it through very well. No doubt Lotus will cut the sill away but they'll be taking away the car's excellent side impact protection along with it. In terms of side impact the current car is truly outstanding, expecially for such a small, light car. There's no way the Cayman's door will be anywhere near as strong as those structural aluminium beams.
