Now that people are waking up to the fact that diesels are NOT the way ahead, perhaps more petrol Jaguars will appear.
So just because VAG decided to cheat, suddenly diesels are not the way ahead.

Strange way of thinking and jumping to conclusions........
NO! VW is just the tipping point. People have been waking up to the diesel issue for some time. They only work for high mileage users, and yet they have been promoted as the "the way ahead" for some years now. Our cities are heavily polluted because of diesel cars, trucks and buses sitting stuck in traffic pumping out Nox.
Time to wise up!

Over the last month I've been spending a lot of time as a pedestrian / public transport user for the first time in over a decade, and the difference in air quality and the stench of diesel fumes in that time is incredible. Also the racket of the traffic seems much higher. I think it's fair to say that cars have very nearly ruined city centres and the diesel engine has put another couple of nails in the coffin, it's a deeply unpleasant experience to be on foot in London.

It's a strategy that is based on scarcity. Or the perception of scarcity.

In the US market, Jaguar charged the highest prices in their segments... whilst simultaneously offering the largest discounts in their segments.

Madness indeed.

So will there be a hatch or estate in 2016?
People are planning purchases.
