Picked it up at the airport yesterday-great read on the flight out to the US. Exactly the sort of mag I'm after-normal classic mags invariably have stuff in which doesn't really hold interest for me, being an 80's kid-so this is perfection! I've looked at the website and liked it on Facebook but can't see where to subscribe?

Sounds interesting, I'll pick up a copy at the airport next week, enjoy a decent mag to read on the plane.

Someone mentioned it in a post earlier and I rushed out an picked up a copy!
I've not put it down all evening, a really great read.
The cars they feature all seem so much more real life obtainable.

Can't wait for next month now!

I guess they're waiting to see the uptake/survey feedback before deciding to go monthly ( front cover suggests bi- monthly initially? )

I think so too, it says Sept/Oct in the back cover as well. I really hope it takes off, really like its attainable simplicity. Real gap in the market for this methinks.

I bought a copy this morning. A good read so far. Really like the future icons section.

I chanced across this in WHS yesterday. Great to see a bold new move into printed mags!

Now this looks promising - just hope someone sells it over here in Ireland

I think I'd find this more interesting purely on the basis it will cover interesting cars I could actually go and buy.
I agree. Although I'm not sure I think all of the cars on their cover are what I'd call classics, modern or otherwise and certainly not iconic.

EVO seem to have lost the plot with some of the crap it has in it. 'The thrill of driving' must be even more subjective than I thought!
It's a shame, having bought pretty much every copy of EVO since it started, but when I was looking through it in WHSmith yesterday I just wasn't interested enough to buy it.

I got Motorsport instead.

I'll have a look at this mag if I see it in a shop.

Got it right here, had it since Tuesday and it is a good mag, very impressed for a first issue and glad it seems to be Bi monthly cos they come out too quick these days. They need to sort the paper out that it is printed on though biggrin

I to have been subscribed to EVO for years until last year, I now only buy it when there is something I find interesting in it... which is not that often anymore.

The best car mags for me are Octane, Classic Cars and MotorSport. Not being a massive Motor Sport fan but every month I cannot wait for the magazine, some of the articles give a great insight into the cars and drivers.

A magazine reviewing cars where there is no recent press release to regurgitate and no marketing department squeezing their balls to write nothing bar positive fluff pieces has real potential. I also like that it's about cars I might actually buy for fun.

Given the climate in print media though I'd be surprised if they produce enough copies to meet your subscription commitment...
