cut off twice whilst trying to renew.
and what on earth is a £45 policy issue fee??
you've charged me £45 just to click a mouse a couple of times and take my money? i so wanted to move away from Flux this year but noone could compete at such short notice.
Quotes are done instantly so not sure you'd want those that couldn't provide that, insuring your car as they seem to be way behind the times.and what on earth is a £45 policy issue fee??

Being a broker that works with over 40 insurers this is our fee for setting up the policy on your behalf. We adhere to strict FCA regulations with regards to this. More information about fees etc can be found here https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/faqs/.
Sorry you were cut off, if you wanted to PM me I'd be happy to arrange a callback when it is convenient for you.

Just received an insultingly low agreed value letter from AF despite their website claims. Reading this thread it looks like I'm going to end up disappointed/out of pocket.
Sorry to hear this, If you wanted to Pm me I'd be happy to look into this for you.Kind Regards
I have just renewed my insurance through Adrian Flux.
After an initially rather high quote, I spent around 15 mins talking a polite, professional and helpful young lady.
This resulted in a closer quote, with double the mileage on a classic policy. ( 1990 MX5 ).
Mentioning that I was a PH member then knocked off a further £22-00 !!
Thanks folks
The cheapest quote was still £ 17-00 less but, I would rather deal with a company that I have experience with over 20 years, than try another with no proven history.
Good effort..

Just my experience - I bought a 73 Beetle, and the seller mentioned they had had good value from Adrian Flux - so I thought, "why not give them a try"?
As the Beetle is an additional car, there was no no-claims to rely on, but AF still gave an excellent (sub-100 pounds) quote for me and my wife for a year (low mileage, garaged, safe area etc)
I will be using Adrian Flux again, I was impressed with their service.

I've had enough of Adrian Flux now. When I took out my insurance with them last year I asked for it not to be auto renewed, unsurprisingly when I had my renewal email it said they would automatically charge my card 5 days before the policy was due to start.
I replied to the email asking them not to renew it. The next day I had 3 emails from them in quick succession:
1st - "Thank you for renewing with Adrian Flux"
2nd - "We will not auto renew your policy, which expires in 2017"
3rd - "We are sorry that you are leaving Adrian Flux. Can you tell us why?" - Maybe because they can't be trusted to carry out even the simplest of changes without messing it up!

Sorry to hear about this - Certainly sounds like some overlapping/miscommunication here so I'd like to try and nip it in the bud once and for all for you. Could you drop me a DM with your details so we can resolve this for you?
Kind regards,
Jamie
Oh, Adrian Flux. You were doing so well.
Sent an email on Monday to notify of a change of address on all of my three policies with you (2x cars, 1x bike). Hear nothing until today when I receive an email giving me notice the bike policy is being cancelled in seven days. No reasons given in the email.
Splendid customer service. Currently on hold to find out why.

Turns out the underwriters didn't want the bike kept outside the garage. Fair enough, however detailing this in the email would have been nice!Sent an email on Monday to notify of a change of address on all of my three policies with you (2x cars, 1x bike). Hi,Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately changing addresses can be a bit of a delicate one for any insurer. If the garaging arrangements change this can affect whether or not an insurer can offer cover at all. If you are still experiencing issues please do drop me a DM and I'll try to assist.

Jamie

Just a quick one Adrian Flux.
I previously had a modified MR2 Turbo and Saab 95 Aero insured through you. Then bought a new Focus ST which I wanted to insure on it's own (and sell the other cars). Below are the different combinations and their cost ratings:
1) Focus ST - most expensive
2) Focus ST and Saab - next expensive
3) Focus ST and modified MR2 - least expensive
Am I alone in thinking that doesn't make sense? I ended up keeping the Saab for slumming about in (tip runs etc) and long journeys (LPG) but would love to see the algorithms that calculated these prices!

This does sound a bit odd and I'd be keen to have a look into it for you. If you could PM me your policy details That would be great.
