Can revo warrant there work,if so that's an impressive performance pack will be interesting if they can do same to new focus rs which is thousands cheaper to start with.
I suspect that it will happen for the Focus RS, maybe even more as it has an extra 300 cc to play with, plus there are loads of MK2 Focus RS's running 400 plus bhp.Going to be some mentally fast hatches about.

The more I see of the estate the more I like it. I almost wish I'd ordered one instead of the hatchback.
if you assume, as I do, this is a fast car not a fun car, you may aswell maximize its utility by buying the estate. At the same time you'd reduce its siren quotient. Darsettian said:

Historically Revo like most tuners do not offer step-in warranties. So anyone know the full parts list for stage 3? I assume its Intake + TBE + TTE450 (uprated turbo) + Fuel pump, the pictures indicate a big brake kit has been fitted as well. Then again I thought the TTE450 had been temporarily discontinued.

From a VAG perspective, I think S3 generally constitutes the following:So anyone know the full parts list for stage 3? - Uprated turbo (including all ancillary parts - manifold etc.)
- Uprated intake
- Full turbo-back exhaust system
- Uprated HPFP
- Uprated intercooler
- Uprated injectors
After which you look at things like strengthened rods, pistons, water-meth however that begins to go into the realms of S3+ and S4 - both of which aren't really defined properly and their eventual "shape" is more determined by how much money you have to throw at the car and how far you're prepared to push the block.
From the reading I've done, provided you do stages in the proper way i.e. you do them in full and therefore leave no weak link in the upgrade chain, up to and including S3 is reliable and has been tested at length by Revo, APR etc. Beyond that and things start to go a bit murky RE: reliability, drivability etc.

I'd love to know how they make that reliable. If it was that easy VW would have come out with the R400/420 by now, surely?
Remember that manufacturers have to pass NVH, Emissions (without cheating), servicing requirements etc and they have to make the maths work.A tuning company buys off the shelf parts (usually better than OEM) and bolts them together with no second thought for emissions and NVH etc.
Oranges and Apples.

Because most tuned cars are just remaps and do go bang because noone bothered to replace the internals with better quality parts.
Never knew that most remapped cars go bang?St John Smythe said:

So, no clue as to what they've done to it to get 450hp, or the cost involved? Nope? Nothing? Ah well, we can just guess I suppose, or make it up or break open some fortune cookies and see if we can find the answer in there.
Intake, Intercooler, Turbo, TBE, Stage 3 Software. You'd reckon there is DSG software for all the torque!Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
