Have a look at Indium Grey by Mercedes.

In direct sunlight it looks like a bronze/gold colour then in darker lights it looks more like a grey colour.

That grey on the Merc is spot on. I showed my missus pyrite brown from BMW, and the bh didn't like it!

Do you lot thing I should stick with a BMW colour though?

My neighbour has a metallic brown MINI which looks - surprisingly - excellent. I assume it's a stock BMW Group colour, but I have never seen another.

Nara Bronze (really changes depending on the light);

This is an absolutely wonderful colour, but I've no idea what it's called hehe (All I do know is it's F1 #029)

I think that MINI 'Hot Chocolate' could work well on an '02.

Being BMW group, I think that Mini colour is the same shade as BMW's Marrakesh Brown (as used on 1 Series) just called a different name for Mini.

Mini Countryman in Brilliant Copper. It's the wife's car and I'm yet to get a decent go at waxing it up!

Agree totally. Suits the FFRR and RRS perfectly.

Is this the "Creighton Brown" car? Named after the McLaren director for a Japanese owner (I recall the story about a browny pink colour)...

I forgot about Brilliant Copper, very rare colour but looks superb in the light.

I thought the Creighton Brown car was this one, but you could well be right smile Either way, must say both are very nice (to this eye)

BMW have some great colours in that range.

I'd suggest Marrakesh Brown. Changes a lot depending on the light, from a dull brown to a brilliant copper/gold colour.

Ipanema Brown. It looks quite orange in the metal.

There's also BMW Ontario Gold developed for a customer in Hawaii wanting a one off car through the BMW Individual programme.
