Moving on, I an currently looking to change my car every +/- 12 months as there are several vehicles I have always wanted to drive.

I'm less optimistic than some of the others here.

A question for all of the people on here would be what kind of money did you spend on the car during your ownership? Gut feel was at most a service but many won't have spent a penny on it. Multiply that up with each owner who kicks preventative maintenance down the road and there must be a much higher proportion of these cars who have de minimis stamps in service books and from a variety of garages who may/may not have followed the schedule correctly/used right oil etc.

Am not saying don't go there but analyse the history very closely as the sort of person who can't afford to fuel a Mondeo V6 is not the kind of person to drop money on bushes, deteriorating CV boots, fuel filter etc IMO

I've had 23 cars in 6 years of driving, I get bored easily but then as mentioned I realise I should have kept some of them longer especially my Evo 5 and S2000.
There have been cars that I've bought and sold within a week or so such as a 1.1 106 and a mk3 golf estate, mainly because I've thought why the fk am I driving this.

I don't worry about it when buying as I know there will be other people out there like me.

A year wouldn't worry me, a few months would.
