That is the best £100k I have seen in a long time.

Perfect porsche and most luxurious 5 seater for sensible money.

Thumbs up from me!

Great choices, not a huge 911 fan but that does look special however I'd be tempted by a F430 or a Gallardo at that kind of money. Does this generation of GT3 still have the Mezger engine or is it prone to the usual 997 engine maladies?
GT3s have Mezger engines, unaffected by the well known 997 issues.

Thanks for the mostly positive comments, I knew it wouldn't be to everyone's tastes! 911s especially seem to divide people. I had lots of ideas, hard to choose. Was very tempted by a C63 estate instead of the quatroporte but didn't want an entirely German garage.

Two great choices. Can't argue with the GT3 as a reliable sports/track car (although I use a C6 Corvette for the same task, just so cheap to maintain and f'ing quick). I ache for the same generation Quattroporte but in GTS form. I'm torn between keeping my XJR and waiting a few more years or trade the Jag in now. I need that sound!!!

Nice garage, could actually work in reality without too much heartache. BTW - The usual 997 engine maladies are relevant to the gen 1 997 cars just to be accurate.

Excellent choices - very tempted by that QP but sadly need an estate.... and don't have any money...

Best £100k garage yet IMO. As others have stated, who wants half a dozen cars that you'll hardly get to drive? A proper 911 weekend\track toy which and an Italian GT, perfect.

Also some very strange and I dare-say misinformed posts on this thread. The 911 GT3 has a different engine which doesn't suffer from the same engine woes as the normal 911. It's also not a new Porsche bought for the badge so not sure what some are going on about, it's a rare and sought after 997 GT3 which has a very high chance of actually appreciating in value.

The Maserati is also not new (for £25k I wished!) and is probably quite close to the bottom of it's depreciation curve. It's also infinitely more interesting than a lot of the German offerings in this sector.

Hmmmm, interesting and weird. Porsche 911, Audi RS4, you seem to like your "engines" in all the wrong places, up front, in the rear. Well MrBarry, I came across this in the Urbandictionary:

http://nl.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=a+Ba...
"a Barry

while performing Anal sex with your partner you proceed to donkey punch them and while unconscious you give them an arabian mask take pictures and Set it as there default social networking site of choice picture.

Last week I gave Jane a Barry and she hasnt talked to me since."

Strange world.

Personally I think the Quattroporte is a fabulous choice.

You've got this all wrong! You are supposed to choose 5 or 6 dreadful cars on the basis that saying you would buy them makes you look clever and different.

2/10 for effort.

Actually choosing excellent cars....whatever next!

Nice choices sure, but I'd be after a bigger collection with £100k to spend.

I like the Maserati, although I'm not sure if servicing will be any cheaper than the usual five sheds (combined!) presented in these things.
