Could be the best £56 you've ever spent.

Just ask yourself this question
Where's the first place you look for another car?

Agreed I never really thought of it like that. One of my last cars (2007 Fiesta ST with 98k) took me 6 months to sell. I had it on gumtree and then decided to bite the bullet and get it on autotrader. Bought 6 weeks listing and it sold within 3 weeks. Was such a relief as things we're starting to go wrong and it was needing around £1000 spent on it. Earlier this year, I did sell my old car a 2004 Fiesta Finesse with 102k on gumtree. It was knackered with the abs light on and needing some other bits done. Was inundated with enquiries for it and it finally sold after 3 viewings.

I think autotrader is my only way forward in this case. It's just sitting there doing nothing and it's not good for it especially since the bitter cold weather is coming in. I cannot see me losing much in depreciation on the car. I bought it in February for £1500 and have a feeling I can get that money back to the right customer.

It's looking like I will need to go down that avenue. The cold weather is coming in and it does the axe no favours when it's lying there unused. I suppose the good thing about it being more damp is it will hide the gearbox oil and coolant leak.

Just a little update. Yesterday I dropped the price to £1500 and had two calls. Someone came and bought it earlier today for £1350. It sold through gumtree and I feel that was a bit of a win. £150 for 8 months motoring is not to be sneezed at
