Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol II)
Discussion
Hi
I'm in the market to get the best deal I can on a BMW 320D (any trim). 3+24 or 3+35 is what I'm looking at. 10k mileage p.a. What's the norm for this car?
The best I can find is this but is not a final quote (waiting for an email arriving on Monday hopefully):
And question, does 36 months contract require me to MOT certify the car before handing it back to leasing company? And how long does delivery normally take (including company ordering etc)? I don't want to wait months!
Thanks in advance.

Well, they do exist but they are hard to come by and phenomenally expensive. You could run a barge for 3 months and sell it for what you paid. Just seems more sensible to me but it's just my opinion.
Yeah but this thread is about lease deals where PHers dont want the aggro of buying and sellingInstead they have the aggro of not knowing what month to expect delivery
Anyway dont most PHers have a spare
My Dad is looking for a 4x4 and has seen this A6 Allroad on Gateway2lease, anyone seen any better deals out there for a similar car (be it A6 Allroad or something like a Q5 or BMW X3 or other 4x4, even if its a 2.0TDi for example).

Feel as though there arn't any great deals around anymore.
One in the family has the 208 GTI from last year , 10,000 miles, no deposit for £160pm.
The recent Polo Gti deals seem to be only thing that come close.
Blimey, cheer up. There have been recently some cracking deals around, perhaps not on hot hatches (if that's what you mean), but on A4s for example they were being leased for £4.5k over 2 years which is nuts. One in the family has the 208 GTI from last year , 10,000 miles, no deposit for £160pm.

I thought I saw some good deals on Corsa VXR recently, if that's your sort of thing. The deals on Polo GTI were short-lived but we're pretty good.

If we were talking 12 months + then yes I'd agree. However the point is that it's FAR more expensive than just about any other way to buy, taking a short term lease. You'd almost be better off pricing up a daily rental for three months. Or, maybe make an exception and buy a car as a stop-gap, probably costing you less than a short lease AND you'll get it all back. Sometimes the answer is "leasing isn't right for that" and this is one of those situations. There's a reason that short term leases aren't common. I'm not a stoic leading advocate, I'm only interested in it when it presents real value. Sorry for trying to offer sensible cost-effective advice.
The advice from you and others previously is appreciated. Tbh it never crossed my mind to pick up a cheap 2nd hand car and then move it on when the S8 arrives. If it's going to cost me £300 per month to hire a Fiat 500 then it's probably worth a bit of hassle buying and selling something even if I end up a few hundred out of pocket.

Are you aware that the 520 is a lot cheaper? Also that the 330e is decent value.
No I'm not! Thanks so much. Gonna look into those now. Thanks again!
EDIT: I'm probably looking in wrong places, but where should I be looking to find these at good value? So far, they seem to be similar value to what I have already been looking at. :s

If anyone has seen or knows a deal on any Polo GTIs please let me know as the other half is desperate for one.
3 + 23 or 35 (no or small admin fees)
8-10k per annum
And around £170 a month
Thanks in advance
There's been a few on here recently if you scroll back a few pages. Yes Car Leasing quoted me £157pm on a 3+23 deal only last week (5k miles) which included the white paint cost option. Their exorbitant £425 fees put me off tbh. 3 + 23 or 35 (no or small admin fees)

Thanks.
I have spoken to Yes Lease and its their fees which are putting us off as well. I don't mind paying fees but it almost doubles the initial payment!
Ideally looking for a polo GTI but would consider something else, seen a Focus ST-1 Tdci for £185 per month and £600 odd up front I think, ideal but it was over 47 month.

Don't look at the initial fees in isolation - look at the total amount you have to pay over the period.I have spoken to Yes Lease and its their fees which are putting us off as well. I don't mind paying fees but it almost doubles the initial payment!

It may not be a bad thing theyve split out their fees separately for you to see

520d M Sport Auto, 6+23 at £233p/m + VAT, 12k p.a. Including the VAT and upfront payment this works out to be £337 p/m over the term.
If you'd like details, email me (email can be found if you click my name)
Have to agree with a few others on here about the glut of posts of people asking others to do the legwork for them. It's one thing if they are bringing a deal to the table and asking for advice, but something altogether different when asking 'what's the best deal on a xxx'. Typically they more often than not turn out to be new registered users with a few posts to their name.

G2L has had this deal on their website since at least November In various forms. Whenever you ask they only have a more expensive sport version with loads of extra options in stock. I don't think they ever had a car at that price in stock, or they at least happily keep advertising it full well knowing they don't now. Alternatives I'm looking at are Touareg and audi a4 avant quattro (fleet prices for instance). around 330 and 300 respectively on 10k and 3-23 profile.
However these are factor orders and my current car goes back in March so would love to find a decent stock car in that range, but it's not likely I think.

That is a very nice deal. And a lot more appealing than what I have been looking at.520d M Sport Auto, 6+23 at £233p/m + VAT, 12k p.a. Including the VAT and upfront payment this works out to be £337 p/m over the term.

Though, it's really the look of the 3 series that drew my attention to the Bimmers. If you have something similar for a 320d let me know too please. Or just let me know your best 320d offer.
Otherwise I'll have to consider that 520 offer.
Thanks!
