New Tiguan deal from Stable may be of interest to some - no idea if it's the cheapest as I received it in an email.

Personal
£252 inc VAT per month
6 + 23, 5k per annum

Excess miles only
6p per mile / £60 per 1,000

http://www.stablevehiclecontracts.co.uk/volkswagen...

Not sure what their admin fee is.
Seen a bit better.

SEL for £235 inc VAT on 6+23 8k miles. http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Quotation/New...

All vehicle also have an interface that lets you play with adding maintenance, miles and initial payment. You can also add options to see what it does to the price.

I was thinking of possibly going for one of the Tiguan SEL at 15k miles, on a 6+23, fully maintained, and with Dynaudio and towbar. £365/month.

How on earth didnt I spot that..............I fully accept errr and raise you a doh and a facepalm.
Seems a good price - where is that from? Currently looking for a Golf R replacement and whilst I am not keen in the S3 styling (saloon the exception) this seems good value

Forgot to mention, it includes full maintenance (tyres, servicing and tax). Do you think a better deal could be had? 30ppp puts me off massively.

Have you spoke to an Audi dealer fleet manager to see what they can do? Or is that from an Audi dealer?

About to pull the trigger on the following deal unless someone can find a better one?

Audi S3 3 door, auto, MY17
£1050 initial
£359 a month
10k annum
Over 2 years
Options included are metallic paint and Bang &olufsen upgrade and price includes VAT.

Only big downside is a huge 30 pence per mile excess 'if' over 10 annum.
Looks good. The usual etiquette is to share a link or the name of the dealer/broker.
Cheers.

Any chance there will be a offer on the Petrol R version of the Tiguan. I really like these as a replacement for my Golf R

I had a look last week, and the petrol Tig seems to be running about £100+ a month premium over the 150bhp diesel. And that is before the slightly lower offers that are cropping up on the tdi, I can't see any offers getting the price of the petrol any lower :-(

AVL prices for:

2.0 Tdi 150ps BMT Sel 5dr 2WD 6Mt 17Mdy - 6+23 - Initial: £1408.44, Monthly: £234.74

2.0 Tsi 180ps BMT Sel 5dr 4Motion DSG Auto 17Mdy - Initial: £2254.74, Monthly: £375.79

The difference in price over two years is over £4000

Depends if the 4motion, DSG and extra 30 horses is worth it to you.

Hi after some advice.

After taking the plunge and going for a personal lease hire. We are due to take delivery on our car in 2 weeks from VW.

I have just found out that the car will be driven to our address over 200 miles away from the dealer not deliverd to our local deale or on a lorry.
Am i right to be concerned about this as this adds 200 miles onto a car before we take delivery. Also it could get damaged on the 200 mile drive over to us. We used contract vehicle leasing and there blurb just said deliverd to door. We had no idea it was being deliverd to a VW dealer 200 miles away from us.

Any suggestions on action we could take to resolve this greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Inspect the car upon delivery,
sign if all well,
log defects if any.
Enjoy car
Look after car
Hand car back on completion.
The delivery milage will not count towards your allowance.
Did you rally expect it to come to a local dealer?!!

If you get no joy from your lease company, then I would phone the dealership it is being delivered to and tell them that while you don't expect/require a new car handover with someone from their sales team, you'd like to collect the car from them yourself.

I'd be very surprised if they would turn their nose up at you saving them paying/sending someone on a ~400mile round trip to deliver a car when you'd be happy to collect yourselves. If they need to deliver it from the dealership premises, then let them know you're current address is *insert address of closest hotel to dealership*. laugh

Grant

Delivery mileage is not included in your mileage allowance.
Should arrive with your half tank of fuel once delivered....where as if you pick up then it will cost you a tank getting there and back.
200 miles garage to door by some middle aged gentleman who does deliveries for a post retirement income.
More chance of your car being damaged going from german factory to compound, to port, to ferry, to dealer.

Never had a diesel before and have not driven a manual in eight years smile
I only average around 6k per year and mostly short journeys. I don't think that works well with the diesel ??

Depends on how the DPF is cleared. On a lot of more modern diesels it doesn't need a thrash to do it, and it will run a DPF clearing cycle when it needs to. Check with a VW dealer/technician how it clears the DPF and if there is a way to check the DPF health (sometimes available through screen/OBD)

Also, with the VW diesels, most are now SCR - so will need AdBlue top ups. The Tiguan has a 13 litre tank that will need refilling approximately annually based on 6k a year, but more often if you drive it hard.

The petrol versions of any SUV is always going to cost more. Lease prices are calculated by the manufacturer based on what they'll be able to sell the cars for at the end. Petrol SUVs always tank, so prices are always higher.

There was a guy on another thread saying that the delivering dealer had subtracted the 200ish delivery mileage from their mileage allowance and then got shirty he complained - can't remember the car or the thread or brand, but it was pretty recently.
