Not the 1.4, but still the first Avant review I've seen.

http://www.whatcar.com/car-news/audi/a4-avant/2016...
Quite a positive review really.

The quality of the interior is certainly way up there with the best of them imho.

2.0TFSi - 0-60 in 7.5. I wonder how slow the 1.4 is...

Claimed mpg of 50

Actual mpg on test of.... drum roll please... 30mpg! rofl

1.4 is about 8.7 seconds 0-62. So it is slowish but not completely woeful.

Is the screen really like that, ie same as the Merc's, just stuck on top...just looks awful.

Given the high resolution of the Audi screen and rich graphics it's far nicer than the Mercedes offering. At least for now anyway.

It's something we will probably just have to get used to given the amount of 'information' drivers desire to be available at all times in this crazy modern world.

seems a reasonable deal

Fives are good value at the moment and heavily supported by BMW. Primarily, as it is a run out model. The new 5 has just been announced. The new one will not be a common sight on our roads until next year.

Hi guys. I'm after something suitably fast and in hatchback variant. Looking at Golf R's, S3's and the A45 AMG's. Anyone know which is the best one to have a deal on at the moment? Any good examples?

The figures for the A45 AMG don't seem to stack up. They depreciate on average about £5000 over two years, but total cost for a 2 year lease is coming in at around £11,000!

I don't know for sure but i find that (den £5k/2 yrs) hard to believe. A quick look at the classifieds show 25K spread between new and used and the car was released as a 63 plate, so 2 years old. Cheaper ones £30K, loads at £45-50 and plenty well over £50k. Sure spec can account for some but not THAT much on a used car

Just incase anyone is interested we managed to get a deal on a Polo GTI.

3 door in black with DSG box
£585 up front with no admin fee
£195 a month fully maintained
24 month deal
8k per annum and £56 every 1000 over that, although 8k is enough
Above includes VAT.

Got it from Steve at QVS, very helpful and highly recommended.

I know the feeling! I was quoted 39k for a new cla45, looking on autotrader a 2 year old one with 25k miles on the clock are coming in at 35k. Yet lease prices are well over the top! If only I had 39k spare frown

Golf R's tend to be the best deal at the moment gate to lease have a deal that works out to £7,680 over the 2 years.

I think these is cheaper than the stable offering.

I'm struggling to find a good BMW i3 with Range Extender deal. The best so far is this:
https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

If I can get a good deal I'll put it through my business, however, if not I'll go for something more interesting like an S3/M135.

Has anyone seen a better deal than this one for an i3 please?

Coolio, although the fees will be just wrapped into the deal (included in the monthly rather than listed as a seperate fee with lower monthlies) to make you feel better. They don't do it for nowt! biggrin

Good luck trying to get a quote at the advertised price. When I tried they were much nearer £300pcm.
