Big car for less than £200pm?

No idea if any good or underpowered, but doesn't seem too bad. 6+23 £199 8k miles pa inc vat
£240/month amortised cost, would need to drive one 1st but can't imagine it's very brisk.
0-60mph in 12s which isn't exactly fast by today's standards but in a mondeo sized car 1.0i 3cyl... Is this the future?!
Continents drift faster. Cheap motoring at a huge cost!

This is probably a better big car option. I think this spec is the cheapest I've seen it offered.

Wonder if Fastbug can better or match as the admin fee is a bit hefty. This or the A6 SE Ultra from Stable? Though this Merc comes with twice the miles IIRC.

Incidentally, I wonder if that classes as false advertising or something since their 'lowest price' option is £4.80 more expensive that their 'small deposit' option when you add up the total amount payable including VAT. biggrin

Their site only shows Mercedes business rates though (without saying so). Personal will be more than that. Had a verbal quote a short while ago.

Probably not.

There's no manufacturer support, because they're popular at the moment, but they're good candidates to lose that popularity (high emissions, pent-up demand being released but no guarantee that that will translate into the used market), meaning that lease companies won't forecast particularly strong residuals.

If you think that £500+ a month is too expensive for a car like that (and it is, although historically that was what you'd expect to pay on a £35k car) then buy one.

Leasing only makes sense when the manufacturer is basically prepared to take the risk on the car by subsidising it now to get good, approved used stock in a couple of years - and Ford's not in that position. Neither is Porsche, for that matter.

I'm not 100% if they can do those rentals. There was a pack of cars that had additional support on, but I thought they'd all gone now? It's worth asking the question though, I'd be keen to find out myself biggrin

Personally I'd prefer the Merc, but the Audi looks like the better finance package - I seem to recall it was about £6,500 all in vs. £7,704 for this one. Extra miles will also be about 3.6ppm cheaper, so even when you take the mileage difference into account, the Audi is a few hundred ahead.

Decent looking 5dr manual M135i deal from Nationwide:

Total cost £7,600 over two years inc VAT.

£856 up front
£285 per month
£180 admin fee
6k miles PA.

You can vary up front payment to lower monthlies too.

Not sure what excess mileage charge is.

Any cheap hot hatches about at the mo other than the 208? Was hoping there'd be some better deals on the RS than the £350 plus at the mo

Very decent deal.
It's only £355 for 15k. That's 10ppm if paid upfront.

Has anyone seen a good deal on these anywhere at all?

Cheers

Seen quite a lot around the £170 mark, the 135 is a bit steep for me, looking at £230 max
