Cheers...Belfast Audi Wouldnt look at me when I went in(was in work clothes)......
Then rang them and I mentioned a lease deal from mainland UK and was told they could get nowhere near that price!!!

Went to Audi portadown lookin £182pm 9+23 10k totally standard 1.4 saloon inc vat..
Gives me something to try and bargain with....
Does your price include VAT?
Yes sorry, they inc vat. I went in armed with online quotes. While waiting in cafe area overheard another fella getting told "no chance" when he tried to get a deal on a saloon using online deals against them. When it was my turn and I mentioned what deal I had, the sales guy disappeared and a manager took over, after a few "offers" he finally ask what it would take for me to buy from them, i told him a price and he agreed, prob should've gone lower!

Remember this was back in January though, not sure the same offers are about now.

Thanks for coming back to me..

Disappointed with Belfast Audi complete attitude towards me was in workman clothes and felt snubbed and looked down on also reviews on Facebook page have a lot of unhappy people...

Portadown Audi completely different keen to deal.....(think both owned by Agnews)

Have got the one price of them at minute which was around £182 9+23 on 10k/year so will do a bit of online research and try to see what will give me.I am in no panic for car so happy to wait....

Well to give them credit my experience so far had been good (obviously helps when they can get you a deal!). In general though all the guys I've dealt with have been great. I was in in jeans and t-shirt, not sure it makes any difference, there were all sorts in trying to get deals, including a guy beside me who would only do a deal if audi used a specific credit check company, and no other ones, which made me giggle! Even when I took the wife and kids in to see the car and the kids appeared to play a game of 'let's get greasy hand prints on all these lovely clean cars', they were still friendly and helpful.

Probably just pot luck when it comes to deals; sales quotas, deals available, time of the month/quarteretc.

Hi, currently in a BMW 125d. Incredible paces and refinement and an Excellent car but looking for an upgrade in size for more luggage space. A BMW X5 30d x drive is my weapon of choice. Or the 40d if not too badly priced. Has anyone seen any deals or offers on them recently? I'm doing roughly 25k miles a year and looking a 30/36 month deal.
Thanks
Rob.

Why do you need a 3yr deal, is it to offset sometimes high initial payments?

I've no thoughts on the X5, but the Passat Alltrack 2.0 TDI 190 4MOTION 5dr DSG remains excellent value

9+23 10k/yr £171+VAT

I suspect you will be paying a lot more than you currently are on the 125d. I have an F15 X5 40d M Sport on a PCP (wife car), even as a pre registered car on a pcp it was still 50k + and over £600/month with a modest deposit and 8000 miles per year. I don't think i have ever seen any decent lease deals on an X5 of any engine size. What about the Toureag? Lots of decent deals on them and the R Line has an impressive standard spec.

Touring R Line, 25k miles per year, 3+23 £555/month inc VAT. Doesn't strike me as too bad!

there was quite a lot of cheap X5 lease deals earlier in the year, there a bit more expensive now but here's one as an example M Sport model in case that was the preferred choice? SE is cheaper naturally.

It's the difference between 25k and 8k per year.

The £555 deal also has a smaller deposit, so it works out at £14,430 excluding any admin fee.

The £275 + VAT deal is £10,560 excluding admin fee - so the excess miles work out at 9.5ppm + VAT.

A one-year-old Touareg seems to go for about £32k and a three year old high miler would be about £20k retail so it seems to be the right sort of money either way.

VWFS deals usually have the excess mileage set at 6ppm + Vat which makes it prob more benificial to take the lower mileage and run over.

Central Leaings deal was just the 1st one I grabbed but noted they have hideous upfront fees, but for a while freedom, NVS and many more were pushing hard on the Touareg on 3/23 & 6/23 profiles.

Essentially though leasing isn't really designed for the motorway munching high mileage users hence why most of the 10k plus users get priced out.
