I'm not registered keeper or owner and my certificate of insurance from Admiral says:
"The policyholder may also drive with the consent of the owner a private motor car not belonging to him/her or his/her married spouse/civil partner, and not hired to him/her under a hire purchase agreement, within our territorial limits, providing there is a valid insurance policy in force for that car."
Thanks. Did you actively declare not registered keeper / owner to them? Either on the phone or using the dropdown menu box?"The policyholder may also drive with the consent of the owner a private motor car not belonging to him/her or his/her married spouse/civil partner, and not hired to him/her under a hire purchase agreement, within our territorial limits, providing there is a valid insurance policy in force for that car."
He was fairly explicit.

Yes, my first car with Admiral was leased and I chose "private leased" in registered owner and registered keeper. And then all my next cars and policies were the same. I have 3rd car in a row with them and it's leased too. He was fairly explicit.
Decent deals on the Passat GT DSG at the moment:
£2400 up front, £162/m, 24 months. 5k.

Now the Golf R is ordered I need a 2nd personal lease, ideally large SUV e.g. Touareg, Q5, X5 etc.
Best I can find is this for the Touareg, which seems ok but only 5k (guessing excess will only be 7.2p and VW do deals on excess!)
https://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/...
9+23 on £293.99 plus £180 fee
I make that 23.7% of list which to me is a good deal, anyone seen anything better?
I got a Touareg escape from central about 6 months ago, was £2.4k deposit and £287 a month at the time. It's a great car for the money, bit of a boat to lug around the corners and it's about to go into the dealer for the second time in 4000 miles which is not great. I also got one of the R's when they were on offer last week!

Not in my experience. You won't get or be listed on the V5c. Shouldn't make any real difference to your premium however, given how popular personal leasing is these days.

You are not the owner or the registered keeper. car remains the property of the lease company. As mentioned above it didn't make any difference to my premium the fact that it was a lease car and i am insured by a high street insurer, tesco.
My car is on contract hire through the business but I have the log book in my name as the registered keeper, just not the owner AGK said:
Anyone know of any deals on VW Amaroks?
Struggling to find them on most places I think as they're classes as "commercial" vehicles.
Cheers

If the lease is in the name of the company, it is a company car, whoever pays.
There was a notable case about it

Now I'm angry. In fairness I've only phoned them up to ask - and been told it'd add to the policy and remove my ability to drive other cars where I'm not a named driver. I said I'll call back in a month as the car is currently locked away whilst I'm out of the country.
Hmmm.

We are expecting another baby so now need to get a 7 seater car, has anyone seen any good lease deals for 7 / 8 seaters. We are looking at a 2013 mec R class at weekend as a ossibility, shame they do not still make them.

Got this email yesterday, remembered it was a 7 seater.
No idea of the terms as their website seems to be having a search problem. I'm assuming you'd need to add vat too, but don't know
