Hi guys

Noticed online that there are large saving on BMW 125d on things like coast2coast but this doesn't seem to translate to cheap lease deals anywhere, at least I can't find any. Do they have poor residuals or something?

I went in with print outs of the Bluechili offers at 8k and 10k miles. The lovely lady couldn't match it at all, as she was £40 over. From what I can understand it's on a limited number of cars but she can see black, grey and white cars in central stock (but not the free grey) which would add £12/month or £6/month for white. If she can match the deal in the first place. Hopefully she'll come back to me early next week as she is digging around...
I wonder if the guy who sold Greg his car would like to sell two more on the same terms? It seems there are enough cars in central stock.
I'd be happy with Greg's deal plus 2k miles @7.2p/mile.
Greg, can you say who at TLDarby we'd need to speak to?
I've sent you both messages with the guys contact details.

Cheers
Thank you so much Greg - MUCH appreciated.
Yes, thanks Greg.
I rang your contact Marco at 0930 Monday, well I tried to but he wasn't available. I left a message for him to call me back but by lunchtime he hadn't. I called again and managed to speak to him but he didn't seem very interested. He said he'd call me back with price and availability - but he didn't.
Oh well, it was worth a try.

So I've ordered from BlueChili now; 3*23 @ 211/month for 10k miles. The met silver 2wd Tech Match 150 Tiguan is in stock and I should get it before 18th December. I reckon I could've got a better deal if I'd delayed 2-3 days and done a bunch more ringing around but honestly I'm fed up of it now. It's hard work just getting price out of the guys in this business. I've never known anything like it, it's like they're doing you a favour when you can finally get one to give you a price and availability quote.

Greg should be very pleased with his amazing deal, but I'm OK with what I got.
I'll be interested to see how Nick got on....

PS, exactly 10 mins after I placed the order with BlueChili I got an email from another outfit I had contacted (fleetprices.co.uk) with a quote offering Metallic Silver or Nimbus Grey for slightly more, but NG would have been my first choice.

Nick, did you make a deal yet?

Yes that Marco guy is a muppet as he tried to up sell by flogging me a car with £680 worth of options for £928 more over the term... Maybe I sounded like a Japanese tourist ?

Just placed an order with my local VW dealer who found a white car at the same price as BlueChili. I was struggling to understand Matthew's accent there (my fault) and he followed up a bit too often for my liking. Still, the lady at the local dealer has been superb. Can't wait for the car as on paper, it's a lot of car for around £5,000 / 2 years.

I just realised it has keyless entry+start and park assist.

I still haven't heard back from Marco!
I didn't have any problem with Matthew's accent, and I'm a shandy drinking southern ponce. But I know what you mean about him calling you too much, I had the same, but since placing the order I haven't heard back from him at all.
I'm wondering if mine will come with Keless Go and Park Assist now.

Any idea when your's is arriving?

Gah, I almost thought I'd found a winner for my M135i replacement at carleasing-online.co.uk based on this huge banner on their homepage.

Turns out it's not clickable and after a quick search the cheapest deal is actually 9+23 at £234 inc. VAT based on 5k miles PA.

I recently had a quote for 9+23 from fleetprices @ £232 per month, only marginally better though.

So I found this on select this morning. You can mess around with the deposit and term and it auto adjusts the price. How cheap are they going to get?

Oops, I missed that it was a 9+12, not 9+23! frown Either way, it doesn't appear to exist on their site. And I'd not be interested in a 12 month deal.

"About 12 weeks" is what I was told. Average on Briskoda seems to be 9-10 weeks, but with Christmas coming I think 12 weeks is more likely.
My order's just gone in - Octavia vRS 2.0TD DSG estate in Race Blue with sunset glass and black design pack.

Business, 3+23, 10k miles, non-maintained - £271 plus VAT, 6p / mile excess.

I waited for a bit and did plenty of shopping around for the best price - ended up going with a Skoda main dealer. Now the order's been placed (and knowing my luck), there's bound to be an unleashing of crazy discounts on vRS contracts within the next month !

That's a shame, Marco was very efficient with me and i had the deal wrapped up within 3 hours, i did say he had no other cars so maybe he just could n't help.... prices are all very similar though with a couple of hundred of each other. I'm assuming all the cars come with keyless / 18" alloys as standard for the final ones before the re-launch.

Mine will be here next week or early week after, I think they have to be delivered this year for the deals?

Quick search on contracthireandleasing.com found this deal at Fleetprices. Ok it's a more hefty up front payment at a 9+23 deal but works out cheaper in the long run...

http://www.fleetprices.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/s...

Deposit = £2032
Monthlies = £225
Admin = ?

Total over 24 months (exc. admin) = £7224 or £301 p/m.

All inc. VAT.

Looks like a £50 per month saving over your deal I think. Not sure if that is helpful or annoying. Sorry!

EDIT to add - this is obvs exclusive of any options that you chose for your deal.

I was going to say £8.8k for the car ordered... you could have an Audi A6 avant for the same price.... or £1k more a £47k c350e Mercedes Hybrid estate (0-60 in 6 secs).

Aye, add in the options and the dealer price is about £200 cheaper over the term of the hire.

They've had park assist for years.

The model name changed slightly with the latest upgrades - it's now got "Edition" in it, so Tiguan Match Edition. Added keyless entry, cruise and 18" wheels. They've been building these for quite a few weeks now.

I got a Match in Sept and started off wanting a lease but needed a car quickly and there were no 2WD manual's around. Also, as noted earlier, adding options adds crazy amounts to the lease and it was really irritating that it didn't have cruise and I really wanted folding mirrors.

Ended up PCPing (to get the discount, then withdrawing) on a 4Motion DSG so kinda blew the budget, but the maths worked out vs lease over 3yrs. I expect any upside may have been killed by VW's current woes though. I'd give it back now if I could and switch to the lease deal.

PCP guarantees the value at the end of the agreement. Besides you can just do a hand-back at the end anyway.
