I got no more joy from my local dealer - not even a callback.
I've got the local VW dealer working on a price for the Golf R and if he can't beat it today I'll be straight onto Horizon as it seems like a solid deal - just wish the 19" alloys didn't add £40 odd a month!
Know what you mean! Currently got a Golf R at 207 a month with met paint (18's though) and am looking at another. From Select with Lapis and 19s for 5 dr DSG it was coming out 315 a month with 2800 down inc maintenance. Just too much. Let me know how you get on!!!
Please keep me updated too. I want that exact spec on an R.I've got the local VW dealer working on a price for the Golf R and if he can't beat it today I'll be straight onto Horizon as it seems like a solid deal - just wish the 19" alloys didn't add £40 odd a month!

I'm sure when I was looking a week or ago the Allroad 272 Sport was at £334 inc VAT on a 9+23. Can't seem to see it now.
The Nationwide deal is still up. Not a Sport but good value - 3+23 £337

Think I'm going to pull the trigger on this:
http://www.targetcarleasing.co.uk/manufacturers/au...
A4 Avant Sport
£229.20PM
Payment Profile: Initial rental of £687.60 followed by 23 monthly rentals of £229.20 . Based on an annual mileage of 10,000 miles
Administration Fee: £360 Excess mileage at 7.2p PM iirc. Anyone seen cheaper elsewhere? I would rather the 2.0T but there seems to be a huge push on the 1.4 atm.

Just ordered a Audi A6 3Ltr V6 272ps Quattro SE Exec 6+23, 10k miles @ £234 month, from my local Audi garage, excess mileage is just 6p !
Don't think there's too much out there that matches that ??? Unfortunately I can't fit the family in a Golf R !

Yes it's +vat & through my biz. I found the price through www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk but their excess mileage was nearly 17p. I took the deal to my local Audi Dealer in Bury St Edmunds & they price matched the monthly but with excess mileage at 6p !
He mentioned they usually offer 14% deals & this one was at 17% so he was losing money ...... My heart bled for about 2 seconds & then I signed the order ! Delivery early August !

Told Horizon to go ahead and now it seems the 5 door adds more than they thought and Lapiz is 'special' so the price is now £352 3+23 (was £325). Asked for 3dr price and he will come back to me tomorrow.
The annoying thing is Lapiz is the only colour I would want there are only 7 colours in total I think and two of them are white.
In other news, still no call backs from any BMW dealers about my enquiries!

Apologies in advance for the dumb question, why is no one mentioning the guaranteed future value if you wanted to purchase the car? Is it because these are business deals or because no one has any intention of buying the car?
Lease deals have no option to buy, which differs from PCP. Clinton Baptiste said:
So if I was going to get a car on pcp with no intention of buying then I'd be better off getting one on lease?
Yes often that is the case, but you'll need to check deal to deal.PCP can sometimes be cheaper if selecting many options as the GFV can increase. Options are typically paid in full when leasing.
All leases are calculated on the basis of what the car will be worth at the end of the term to the company.
That's why seemingly expensive cars can be less to lease than cheaper ones, it's all about how much money they lose over the period and hence how much they can recoup.
So yes, every lease car does have a future value attached to it. It was that value I was offered.
